Mühle Glashütte Promare Go 300m

It's definitely a beautiful watch! Looks perfect for someone wanting something a bit different, but still high quality.

I think it's important to mention that Mühle don't advertise this as a dive watch, it's designed to be more of an all-round aquatic sports watch, hence the bi-directional bezel and lack of lume on the second hand.

Great summer watch, in my opinion. Seems so simple at face value, but as you dive into it, you can see (and I imagine feel) the thought that Muhle put into this one.

That's one good looking watch! That strap looks super comfortable.

I bought it just yesterday here in Italy, with a 20% discount. Here in Italy it is very difficult to find, not everyone makes discounts and therefore being a niche brand it remains less competitive with other noble houses. But just take it in your hands and put it on your wrist to understand how much research and quality there is in this piece. It is not perfect, as indeed the Sar which has a cheap operation in the closure of the bracelet that is not found even in watches for 600 dollars. Sure Muhle you have to improve a lot of things, from marketing to distribution, we always talk about a house that produces only 15,000 watches a year. But I am very happy to have come to put the Promare Go on my wrist.

Thanks. Awesome watch would love it also - except for personal taste I don't like blue on watches. So how about a review on the Mühle "Promare Datum" (44mm in orange) or the "Blackmotion Seatimer"? I'm very happy with my iconic "M29 classic".

Very cool diver and well executed design cues that you pointed out, I noticed that matching date wheel and colored ring surrounding the outermost part of the dial which match the light blue of the first 15 min of bezel, those are very nice unique details that really tie the design together, I didn't even realize the lack of a counter balanced second hand until you pointed it out, all in all I think is a very nice diver and different, nice review 👍

Muhle making some cracking watches, the blue ring around the edge of the dial is crisp!

Such beautiful blue tones. It's drop dead gorgeous, better looking than my favourite Sinn U1 Blue. Your video shots are amazing.

i like the colours on the dial and bezel. both shades of blue look natural. so many watches get the dial colour wrong by over saturating it making it look comical and cartoonish. a very tasteful piece.

Peter you know I like dive watches. This is a gem and the 15 minute blue on the bezel has form and function.

It's a great brand. I had a terrasport 2 great watch. My only thing is 22mm lug widths can be a turn off. I've owned Tudor black bays and 22mm straps can be chunky.

This is not strictly speaking a dive watch. The 12 marker and the bidirectional bezel make it a pilot watch like the Sinn 104. but nevertheless this is a cracking watch from an underrated German brand. A great all-round sports watch

Dunno why I missed this upload, my affordable grail. Just a standout of the sector and I've had a blue seamaster, this is nicer. Like a cooler German Tudor... The rubber rescue timer is another classic peice of functional design

If you could get hold of a Mühle Glashütte 29er day date with grey face that would be review worth looking at, that is a beautiful looking piece.

That is a Sellita sw400, it's got more in common with a valjoux 7750 minus the chronograph bits

I don't know what it looks like in person but that blue dial looks amazing on your video. I am a sucker for blue dials overall, this model just hits my points. While a dive watch it is still classy and elegant and could be considered for less formal evening events.

Nice. They don't have as many good watches on Drop anymore. But, I was surprised to see Muhle on there a couple of times.. I think maybe this watch included. Anyways, it is a nice no nonsense dive watch beautifully executed as you noted. Thanks for sharing.

Bi-directional bezel, another watch geek fetish. Like lume... If it works, never mind! The only thing on this watch (and almost all german watches) is the lug to lug, tad long. All the rest shouts "TOOL". Even thickness is spot on! Thanks Peter, be well mate.

My initial thought was the lugs on this look crazy long and at 50mm they are. It is however a looker.

If you like thin automatic divers which cases which sit excellently on the wrist, you should totally look at the Glycine Combat Sub line.

Hi, another great review and another German brand that is now on my radar. How would you compare this brand to MeisterSinger? i love both but can only afford one or the other, which would you lean towards? I have a Stowa watch and love it, i prefer German to swiss made watches to be honest.

Great video as always! Always been a big fan of the SAR, but the price was high for me. You should take a look at the Laco Atacam.2 as well. I just got one a couple of months back and it hasn't left my wrist since!

Hi Peter, this brand is not popular in Germany. Most of their watches are fairly boring and this is why they are not so popular. I know a friend of mine whos watch movement just failed. This should not happen after one year of wearing this Mühle Glashütte. The bidirectional Bezel is also an absolute no go, for a "Diver" watch. Thanks for the review. Cheers, Jack.
