Here's my full instrumental cover of this kvlt Mütiilation album. I was listening to it a few month ago and thought to myself "well dat is some serious kvlt but u can't hear sheit of most of the epic riffs". I decided then to get some work for my perfect pitch and learn/record the shit out of this piece of art. Earing was sometimes hard but I managed to get all the riffs and the drums parts. Each song took me 2 hours to learn/tab and 1-2 hours of recording. I'm sharing my work with you guys to pay my respect to Mütiilation and the Black Legion (i'm french so this means even more). I really hope that you will enjoy those covers and that you will discover again all those epic songs with a "better" production. I you want to do some vocal cover, feel free to use my instrumentals but quote me at some point please and don't steal the credits. Of course, this is Mütiilation's music after all and I don't make any money from this cover. I'm just sharing my work and passion for Black Metal. All credits go to Black Metal Lair. Unfortunately, bitrate of tracks is 128 kbps because of RU-vid. Archive also contains a link to a Spotify playlist of this album. To use this playlist you have to import tracks to Spotify using your desktop app. Click the arrow in the top-right corner of the desktop app and select Settings. Scroll down to Local Files. Thank you ! This kind of giant cover is a lot of work and i have every new year less and less time for music and my very humble and confidential youtube (that much work for that few views, basically). Doing this legendary Peste Noire album (im french tho, so it would mean even more) was already on my mind but represents wayyyy more work than Mütiilation (easy pie it was). I cant promess you anything, and if i manage to finally do this album, it would be in a long time (like a year, probably even more). Then i Maybe will have better material and production skill too ! I have made a cover of Le Mort Joyeux, if you didnt listened to it already maybe it could be some kind of a long shot trailer for a giant album cover...hope so :)

Awesome work! Can you upload this album somewhere else so we could download it and listen in 320kbps? RU-vid cuts the quality and it's not really convenient to listen through RU-vid. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the good words ! Infortunately i lost the WAV and 320 files in a big computer issue 2 years ago...the - massive - Reaper project didnt make it aswell so i cannot get you anything better than the RU-vid audio, sorry about that

@@gtradditem So, I downloaded this video, converted it to MP3, splited it into individual tracks, added tags, album cover and created an archive. Spotify playlist was made so people could listen to this album through Spotify if they have these tracks. I also included a .txt file which contains a link to your channel, this video and Spotify playlist that I created. If you're okay with this I can post a link here so people could download it. If not - I will leave it for private use. I can also change properties and tags of every track if needed.

Might just take this and add my own vox to Tears of a Melancholic Vampire, i always liked that track but the vocals are super mid/underwhelming on it to me

This is a proof that those were great songs but with the shittiest fuckin' crappy production ever and sloppy drumming. The first track could be easily mistaken as a Sargeist song.

I have nothing against raw production, I love Transilvanian Hunger. But I think that Darkthrone did It properly, not fuckin' the tones or the tightness of the drums, however simple, it' very precise. On the other hand, Mutiilation's drumming on this album sounds ultra sloppy and its tone sucks so much, sounding like toy plastique drum. The guitar tone also isn't very good but It is at least acceptable.

Agreed, but tracks 1-3 don't suffer as much as they're much more powerful songs.

To me, the sloppiness adds to the overall atmosphere.

Also, you can easily tell the difference between Fenriz's pace at the beginning of a song and how it drops off at the end. Just let a song play for awhile towards the end and restart it.
