M.A.S.K. - S01E02 - The Star Chariot 

If I close my eyes I am immediately a ten year old kid again in elementary school as soon as the intro plays. holy moly. I am transported back to my parents house in the mid 80's. I am almost 50 years old now. we had it so good back then and did not even realize it or appreciate it.

It was M.A.S.K. or Thundercats as my favorite. What a great time to grow up! 🤘🏻

Watched the show and read the comics. It was awesome time to be a kid back in the 80s. I had the Soundwave transformer clipped to my belt. I had the Snake-Eyes action figure in my shirt pocket. I had the He-Man slime tower. Oh man, life was good!

Ah, MASK, Robotech, Transformers, G.I. Joe, etc. I miss the eighties! The cartoons were often just as good as movies!

This episode aged well. But seriously, I love MASK.

One thing I've always wondered about M.A.S.K. agents, how the hell do they keep maintaining regular jobs when they are called into action so regularly??

20:45 What a great tip for childrens. If i ever saw that episode as a kid, i'd keep that in my mind. It happened to me once that dog looked friendly and when i wanted to pet him he tried to bite me but i somehow got bruise on my stomach. Could've been worse but i had some luck. We seriously need cartoon advices that are good for childrens. Not all parents can-do teach their childrens about the dangers outside.

Thanks for posting. Used to watch this as a kid, had nearly all the toys too which I loved to play with. I might have to scour eBay to get some of them as they were made to function just like they did in the cartoon.

After Scott and T-Bob were seemingly crushed to death, Matt kept a really cool head when he confronted Mayhem and told him, "I'm going to personally see that you spend the rest of your life behind bars!" After VENOM escape shortly after, Matt says that Mayhem will pay for what happened to Scott, but his tone of voice doesn't show someone who seems overly revenge-driven, considering that event is pretty fresh in his mind. Heck, Matt doesn't even give chase to VENOM after they escape. These just don't seem like the actions of a man with Batman-esque revenge. Hell, maybe Matt Trakker can cope better then fellow billionaire Bruce Wayne?

Interesting to see which shows get posted on RU-vid. Thanks for this. Seems the heroes get different teams, depednding. I think the lady could've at least parked somewhere when called. 😉 Good stuff w/the fire, Scott survivng, & stopping the villains. 🙂

Great. Loved this cartoon as a kid - those were the days when the cartoons were good.

2:10 That was a heck of a fast landing.

Seems as if the animation was created in multiple sites. Half of the episodes like this one uses Japanese sound effects while the other use Hanna Barbara like sound effects and the video looks crispier.

80's cartoon was the best but the intros are next level. 👍

Watching this as kids was great but as an adult, just realized Scott called out "dad" in front of Venom when their identity was supposed to be "secret". That was just stupid.

Anyone else notice Scott is wearing an Indian shirt and pants when he jumps on the board then his regular clothes when he catches the fish?

There is such a divide between child watching this and adult. I used to have most of the m.a.s.k. toys and alot of episodes on beta thanks for posting it is still a great show.

I loved this show. Had almost every car made including Boulder Hill. I had to leave my entire collection behind when I moved. One day I may just have to rebuild my entire collection. They even made a GIJOE figure of Matt Tracker in his Thunderhawk outfit.

Visionaries, Sky Commanders, Tigersharks, Silverhawks, Centurions, Turbo Teen, Thundercats. The 80's were the age of great cartoons. Everything was fresh and new. Wonderful ideas for heroes and villians, unique and intriguing. Now all cartoons are ridiculous. They make no sense characters are rude or just plain stupid. The ideas seem like something out of an acid trip. And those are ones that stick around. Anything good or half decent that resembles th3 good olé days gets canceled after one season.

I use to love watches this cartoon after school!! I had a lot of the action figures and cars too!!

appartenley scott did die but was brought back to life by the star chariot.this was written by a member of the writing staff who was a scientiologist and had planned this episode to be the season finale episode.
