I liked it as a kid, I played it 10 years later and it sucked. The controls are slippery (motion controls...) the graphics didn’t look that good and I was always bumping into stuff

I liked this game with I was very young. 9 years later when I played this again it was super bad and ugly. In fact I just then discovered myself that you can’t use the nunchuck, classic controller or GameCube controller to play. You have to use a single WiiRemote only with dumb tilt controls. I had a hard time controlling the kart and kept bumping in walls. After that, I threw it somewhere so buried in my closet and then I never touched the game ever again.

I've had the same feeling too, I didn't play it as much as a kid but I usually played it if I wanted to enjoy something on my free time. Now many of us realize how terrible this game really was, especially after a lot of us got Mario Kart Wii. No wonder why this game won Gamespot's 2008 Flat-Out Worst Game award

The controls are actually really sensitive and slippery. Also the reason why its so bad is literally the game itself. The themes of the tracks are so bland, the sound effects can get on your nerves quickly when you crash into a wall, the voice acting isnt that good, and once you get a handle of the controls, it goes from annoying and infuriating to boring. The only good thing about this game is the soundtrack
