I am completely flabbergasted and how well poof drove in this game. Everyone else who has played this game struggled with just one track and yet poof is a driving master.
The lines were so random and didn't fit anything that happened. Ugh a nut, If only I were green, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the lines was Luke I am your father
Fun fact: In one of the guinness world record books, this is considered the lowest ranked kart racer. And knowing that information, I knew poof was gonna have a bad time with this game when I saw the thumbnail and title.
I picked this game out for my family when I was seven or eight, and I’ve regretted it literally every day since. The fact one of my favorite RU-vidrs is sharing my misery makes me so happy!
I mean this game was mostly sold at scholastic book fair, I never bought it but I didn’t expect it to be much even as a kid. First time seeing gameplay of it and it’s by Poofessure lmao. In the catalog sent to our school they had a DS version. I can only imagine that’s much worse
I remember enjoying this game when I was 5 for a single day but after you closed the game you lost everything that you unlocked so I threw it in the closet and never played it again
If you play the video at 2X speed, it looks like Poof is the best M&M's Kart racer in the world. Also, if you play the video at regular speed, it looks like Poof is still the best M&M's Kart racer in the world.
This game was my childhood. Five Below used to have a bin full of Wii games by the entrance and my dad would take me there to get a new game sometimes. My brothers and I used to grind this game daily. We still quote the terrible voice lines to this day. Blue was the best: "APPROACHING SOUND BARRIER!"
This looks like an arcade game that you’d find in the back of your local dive bar/pizza joint, which has been there since 1998 but miraculously still works.
I have really vague memories of playing this game as a kid, the disk was so scratched up that most of the tracks wouldn’t even load and the ones that did froze immediately. Good times lmao
I remember playing this on ds and I thought nah they couldnt have just ported the exact same game over to wii without even changing anything... but they actually made it worse
I played this game when it came out thinking it would be halfway as good as Mario Kart. It's not I've 1% as good... It also came out in a time when the Wii sold a gazillion units, so game developers tried to get as many titles on the console as possible. These games didn't have to be good, they just had to be out before the holidays.
that chocolate factory map is the worst kart racing track i've ever seen in a game, so many repeated sharp keeping you from going fast and doing the actual fun part of racing games
