Rotary as well is also expensive but can print 1000 and more shirt. It really help you a lot fast and accurate print. I love screen printing i really do than direct to film/direct to garment.
Having techs assemble your press was the right call. We have two new Kruzers at work, assembled by employees and they are not where I know they should be, having used other m&r presses.
This is awesome! Helps me a lot because my recent supplier just got bought out and the new supplier sells M&R.. Question, why did you guys not decide to do this wet on wet? Sorry, multiple colors is something I’m still trying to understand. Especially, the order of colors.. when to flash and when not to flash.. just things like that..
Hey, for this plastisol print - it added no extra time to use the flash. We also built in a small stroke on the colours so the black can sit over well registered. I wanted to maintain the crisp lines in the black so having the flashed colours made sense so there was no indication of blurring on the edges. I would have gone for wet on wet for a waterbased design for sure.
Hey, we draw our guides directly on the platen then cover it with the transparent tape. As they are there permanently it makes the grid adaptable to line up jobs from bags to left chest and full back and make sure the reg marks are close enough to a line to check they are straight.

Nice video...I have the same press but have really disapointed with the clamps. They are constantly coming loose and the screen wants to move when you tighten them down making registration difficult. I've had 2 M&R automatics and a Radicure dryer and have been a big fan of their products but not so much with this one. Have you had any issues with your clamps? Thanks.
Hey, I haven't seen an issue with the clamps myself. I did have to tighten one with an alan key once. Thats a shame you had that issue. There seem to be quite a few variations of Kruzer so maybe ours were slightly different.
Hey, Thanks for the comment. There are 2 handles to set the angle and height of the off contact when you set up the press in relation to the platen. It just isn't advised to mess around with those handles once the level is set. You can use the bolt under the arm to quickly and accurately change the off contact during a print run for example if you are printing a t-shirt and then printing a hoodie. There are quite a few different models of the Kruzer in circulation which is why you might think I am completely wrong. I have seen ones with a central knob which does the same thing as me adjusting the bolt under the arm. - Cheers though for raising the point.
