I wish my handwriting was as nice as yours. The apple pencil without any "paperlike" screen protector actually helps me write better than other stylus because I have a disability that affects my fine motor control and this is most precise. Also on the glass it just feels like truly effortless writing with how it slides and I don't need to apply pressure. So it's actually easier for me than with a normal pen and paper. Even still though, I have trouble making things look neat. :/
This only applies to the Apple Pencil 2nd gen (has one flat side and connects to the iPad magnetically and charges magnetically). The first gen (entirely cylindrical, and has to be physically plugged in to be charged or paired) has no touch functions on the Apple Pencil.
I personally don't think the mini-LED image quality is significantly better than the LCD, but many people think otherwise. So the deciding factor is whether you want portability or the larger display, NOT for the mini-LED
Does the screen bend in when laying your hand on it? also interesting is whether there is a hologramme effect on the pen on the display when applying more pressure to it
Hi. I recently purchased ipad pro 2021 with apple pencil. My main usage of the ipad is for note taking. So would you suggest using any screen protector or I can be just fine without it? Btw came across your channel while deciding between which tab to buy. And I absolutely love your content ❤️.
You’ll be fine without screen protector. Just get a flip case, one that can charge the Apple Pencil. Matte screen protector will affect image quality. Actually if you are only using the tablet indoors, matte screen protector is alright. But I don’t recommend that when your usage is mostly outdoors. Or just get a cheap matte screen protector to try. Get SuperShieldz from Amazon. If you don’t like it, it’s not too expensive
@@adyutprakash2986 Get a screen protector. A matte one if you want a more tactile feeling while using the Apple Pencil, or a tempered glass one simply to protect the screen. Why would you not want to protect the screen of your expensive device?
@@teohontech7141 thank you sm, i usually drawing at home but i wanna know the m1 and 2gb more ram make procreate better than previous model? i mean faster when work with more layers
@@burr1143 Both 2020 and 2021 tablets are fast. M1 iPad Pro can make more layers but if you don't need that many layers, then the difference in number of layers is not important. How faster you can work will be limited by you, not the tablet.
@@teohyc thank you, i see, i meant faster that my tab s7 getting slower and crashed when i work with more layers in infinite painter and krita, thanks again
@@burr1143 Unfortunately I don't work with Infinite Painter or Krita. I just work with Clip Studio and Concepts and they work fine. The iPad probably will be more stable. But if you're thinking of selling and buying and iPad, consider buying Clip Studio Paint (subscription) first to test because it's probably cheaper than buying a new tablet.
@@teohontech7141 I'm sorry to bother you in an unrelated reply, but people are reporting this issue on their m1 12.9 version and I wanted to ask you about it. It's where the middle of the screen darkens slightly when the ipad is under heavy load above where the m1 processor is ( www.reddit.com/r/iPadPro/comments/obkomf/2021_129_ipad_pro_area_dims_on_display_under_load/ ) Could you do a video, check yours for this, or just give any insight on this pretty please?
@@Marie-et6lw I don't have that problem. I used the iPad Pro under the sun for extended period for drawing and the screen did not dim. Anyway, Apple iPhones and iPad will dim automatically when it gets too hot. My iPhone 12 Pro Max does that, and when it dims it's very difficult to see what's on the screen. However, to get the M1 iPad Pro to dim, you really have to be doing some really processor intensive task. Even exporting 4K video would barely heat up the iPad Pro. So to get the iPad Pro to warm up, my guess is you have to use it under the sun.
@@teohyc Thank you, but I'm talking about where it dims in only one spot of the screen, the center, instead of the whole screen dimming like what's normal on many devices.
Teoh, honestly! This doesn’t help anyone. What you should do is using Notability and GoodNotes, because everybody knows that these are the number one Note taking Apps. You should then go ahead and also use the Zoom Window function and show us if the lines are wobbly or not.
