That works also. These were used as least as far back as the 1903's and on to at least the M14.

I have one but the mirror needs to be replaced.I don’t think I can find one.

@@AmerigoZuccaro I feel like I've seen some on ebay but it may take some patience and looking. It also may be easier to just get a new one if you want a functional one.
