Apple is smart, they knew their iPad size names were going to be 11 and 13 inch, but decided to start with 10.9 and 12.9 to make it feel like they got larger by bumping the number up a decimal
some reviewers took their time to measure or/and check the technical drawings, it grew by 0.1 inch, so the stated sizes are still marketing, but not lies or round-ups.
Super happy I went with the new 11 inch air! I used to have the 12.9 M1 Pro and I remember trying to justify owning it… The smaller one is perfect for everything and can be used as a tablet on the couch
Yup, I purchase the M2 iPad Pro 12.9” at launch and man I hated it, not only because it’s heavy but the screen is just to big to use it comfortably as a table it’s like you even have to make bigger swiping motion with your founders to navigate the screen lol that’s why I have it to my mom and got an iPad mini and now it’s the new iPad it 11” and one I am in love! It’s the perfect size! So I use my mini for work and when I’m out and about and my 11” for home! ❤️
Yeah, I'm thinking about getting the 11-inch iPad Air as a budget option compared to the Pros. I'm a video editor, and I was testing out Final Cut on there. I will say, the larger 13-inch size is a little bit better for screen real estate, but I think you can still use it on the 11-inch. 😃👍🏻
@@amoorxd5432these are my reasons to go with the new air; - speaker replacement- the old air had speakers at the bottom, so when I did handheld gameplay I was covering the speakers. Now, the speakers are at the top so I'm not covering them while gaming. - New M2 - Pencil pro - better design - upgraded storage choices it's just overall the better air
@@amoorxd5432 disagreed most people use iPad horizontally and the camera. This time is on the horizontal side which is a big plus side along with Apple Pencil pro M2 chip it is a great choice
I think as an artist this will be a nice upgrade for my artwork, that's really my main reason why I want to buy the new iPad in the first place, but I think the air be best because if I buy the pro it's going to be a little more pricey but as long the storage and frame is enough I'm good 👍
I hear mixed reviews for it. Some say battery is worse than ipad gen 10 and some say its better. For me battery life can be important along with performance
Bruh it's not like am gonna be on the ipad for more than 5 hours I use a damm samsung a34 if I play like roblox in 3-4 hours from 100% it will be nearly 40% so if the ipad battery lasts better then it's a win for me
Do you guys have a problem about touch sensitivity when apply protective film in iPad Air ? I already return 5 unit of it but the problem still the same and I already try with both of temper glass and scratch prof film but the problem still occur. and the touch sensitive will be better when i plug my charger and touch it the sensitivity will back to normal.
Great, honest review! ❤ Yeah, I just got back from the Apple store yesterday and saw them in person. Everyone says the OLED display is so noticeable, but I completely forgot about it when I was there and couldn't tell a difference, honestly. Not saying they aren't great displays, but for me, the fact that I just remembered the new Pros have OLED and it didn't stand out enough for me to remember while I was there says something. I would say the size and thinness are way more noticeable. But yeah, for me, I completely forgot about the new OLED displays 😂 on the Pros. Also, the Apple Pencil Pro wasn't that impressive, and I had a hard time activating the new touch features on the pencil body.
Do these thick bezels make the screen size smaller as compared to 2022 ipad air . And what about the sound quality? I am going to buy if u give me clearance for both things
honestly i think that the IPad 10th gen is a better option (11 inch one, not the 13 inch) because, if you want to do MORE than a regular IPad you should just straight up get the Pro, i don’t understand why you need to pay so much more just for the support of the 2nd gen pen and a SLIGHTLY faster processor, as i said, if you need serious performances just get the IPad pro, otherwise the IPad 10th gen can do literally everything the IPad Air can with super performances.
@@Ashr.lib1330 Depending on users' applications. I am not a serious gamer/creator. Using 13" iPA for note taking, reading, and watch videos, 13" iPA is sufficient to do the work.
How is their standby time and battery drain? I have bad experience from the M1 pro and A14 air, i'm literally have to charge them every two days even when I'm not using them and they charge too slow
So i got my new iPad Air 11in yesterday.i wonder why in UK there’s no adapter in the the box only the usb c cable. Other unboxing videos has adapter on it.
@@kyanbirsoni3943 The non-laminated display was a no go for me. If it doesn’t bother you I would just find a 10 used. but here in Canada at 10 with 256 GB was $700 in the air was $800. So I just got something I know I wouldn’t have to place for many many years.
@@boosted6gen765get the xiaomi pad. Its good enough for your needs plus you get to save more money. I may suggest that you give the samsung tab s9 fe a consider too. Just for longevity with its reliable OS updates. Though it is slightly slower than the xiaomi pad if you're into games
I have 14 pro max which is 120hz whenever I use another phone with a 60 hz display it just feels lagging so I am still thinking about the pro but its 1000$
I have a promax phone and an iPad mini six and it doesn’t bother me going back-and-forth. I also upgraded from an older iPad Pro to the iPad Air and it hasn’t bothered me at all.
I don't know if I'm lucky that I bought the 64gb Air m1 cellular for $350 during a closing sale a month ago or unlucky that the Air m2 got recently released after buying the Air m1.
The screen of this ipad is literally 1mm bigger than the 10.9 inch air and still is smaller than the original ipad pro i genuinly don’t know why they changed it
Looks good but i might wait till its on sale in future or go for the ipad 10. Right now i cant find a new ipad air 5th generationa dn wary about getting renewed/refurbished brands as few times i got crappy ones sold to me.
Great common sense review. Another option to consider is an iPad Pro 11 M2 2022 version. You can get those at the same price as the iPad Air. That gives you the benefits of most pro features. Then again you won’t get the camera in the horizontal position. I am spoiled and do notice a bit of lagging on the 60hz display. Sound is good, but not as good as pro. Just food for thought. You cannot go wrong with the air. I have been having some touch issues on my M2 air. Could be an issue with just the one I have. Thanks for the review.
yes, but i'm sure most people don't realize the older one was like that too until you put your ear up to each speaker while something is playing and cover the other one.
You need to be stupid to cry for 60hz. It's litteraly best refresh rate you can imagine and the last one you will ever need. First of all it's only 60hz, meaning GPU will work just fine on all games for pushing only 60fps not stretching power limits and producing heat and not draining battery when not needed.
