Just another "Dirt Perfect" viewer that made the trip over to your channel. While enjoying the content, I noticed something that is near and dear to my heart. The chains you use are old friends of mine. I was a USAF C-130 Loadmaster for 22 years. Needless to say I've "slung" those 10k chains many times. The bent hook enables the force to be kept in a straight line. We carried 34 of the 10K chains, 34 tightening devices, 12, 25K chains and devices and 40 5k straps. Keep up the great content. Clint what you should have done is got the crew cab built then took it up to the camper place and let them build you a camper especially for that crew cab And let them mount it on the Chelsea for you

On camera it looks like you can drive that plasma cutter pretty good.

ii built a 69 gmc 9500 two axle4x4 10 ton and had 100 ton frontleafspring what I'm saying. airridecab and seats or you will eject yourself mine was also a convertible. great job the broutback good times

I think that truck and driver are going to like the DT466. The auto trans is an advantage because with today's tall men, there is not enough room for your left leg to be moving up and down.

A right happy bunch an no crying over spilled milk. Honest tries and good attempts. Never limiting yourself to what you've done but but attempting to do more by trying more with out second thought to how its looking. My theory would work if Edsel wasn't ugly, it was just way too soon/LOL. I hope that you haven't tried to answer any of my prior comments as this one kinda blows the others out of the water. I see that cabin coming off one more for the other transfer case to be installed. I never dreamed when I was at the motor pool that this would wind up in your shop from nam.

Merry Christmas I was saying 6 times on the cab ,, maybe weld a tab on the bridge too hold the chain from going side to side ? I would have taken the windshield off so that the forks don't give you a teardrop looking windshield frame and have to cut a curve out of the glass too fit it ,, great video ,,

Nice work. Although I think you are going to have at least 3 more lifts as I believe you will need to add some additional supports to replace the bridge you removed and may need a little more room for the rear mounts. Thanks for sharing. Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This is the sort of project that RU-vid Playlists are for. Hope you have a great holiday break. Next year when you get back, and have some YT time, (I suggest) build a playlist for this, and one or two other projects. Maybe also one to collect all the Dirt Perfect collaborations (call it 'Dirt Spoilers' because his production "pipeline" runs so long that he posted a mini-rant about how he doesn't need any rippers *right after* I watched you install his new ripper). Give four or five playlists some time, then you'll probably get lots more playlist suggestions. I think it's not obvious to creators what to use them for because it's not the same for every channel. It's my opinion they go well with specific projects, but that might not be what's best for your channel. You've got direct sales to think about, and more. I mostly watch hobby project channels, so that's mostly what my opinion is probably good for.

I have a NOS air assist steering kit for that truck. Then the truck could use a smaller steering wheel off of a 5 ton.

Because you folks have done this before..., (and are professionals)..., I say no less than 6 lift & removes on the cab...

A suggestion, why not put an 2 or 3 speed gearbox between the transmission and the transfer case? Then all 3 axles would be turning at the same rpms.

Those front cab mounts are a pain, heat wrench is the easiest

I know this question sounds rather frivolous but due to the unique truck build I feel it as of the utmost importance that I get the correct answer to this question do you prefer scold or do you prefer Copenhagen please reply as to your choice it will probably help make this truck build go a little faster

This stuff is really cool to watch. But I figure that is going to be one expensive truck by the time you add all the parts labor and fabrication time.

I had a neighbor who has since passed (May he rest in peace) that served in the Korean war and told me about the deuce & 1/2 that he was around that had an international 466 gas engine, not sure if the blocks were the same, but I suspect they were very similar.

You guys remind me of another channel I subscribe too; Fab Rats ! they do rock crawlers; use what they have, and make it fit ! Happy Holidays ! (no Christmas music PLEASE )!

What are you going to do with the rusted out braces under the drivers side towards the outside of the cab, triangle braces? I would think they should be fixed after all the work you are going too, just wondering.😊
