This movie really delivered with the mix of horror and comedy, I’m not gonna lie. And the sequel was already announced after the movie’s release in theatres. Also, it was supposed to be an R Rated movie, but it got changed to PG-13 instead.
This was such a fun movie! Glad you enjoyed it too! And you really worked hard to get this reaction as soon as possible! First M3gan reaction I'm seeing!
Megan 2.0 coming in January 2025. Bruce reminded me of the power loader from Aliens. They show it early in the movie once and you gradually forget it until the climax. M3GAN was portrayed by an 11 year old Kiwi actress with a background in ballet and gymnastics. She did her own stunts as seen in this amazing video! m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yCCXjlz8Ssc.html It’s like 80% of the horror element was saved for the climax. Gave me strong flashbacks of the first Terminator movie. Before that, I was more amused and entertained than scared.
I wonder what M3GANS new form will look like? Remember when ultron looked to upgrade himself to Visions body? I’m kinda worried about what her new form will look like.
when i watched this, i sort of noticed something. early on megan was looking at a butterly almst enjoying the beauty of the life , and then Cady immidately shot down the butterfuly and said she was trying to kill it. which may have triggered something in megan. as the first thing she did after that was kill some other bug in the back yard. of course gemma forgot to program in asmiovs three laws, that would have vastly helped. also, i think megan reminds me of some combo of ultron, the terminator/skynet, and hal2000 from space oddesy to some degree.
oh and one other thing. the glass of wter caused megan to have some trouble. seems the best way to defeat her would be to get her to chase you into a lake or something i doubt she could swim. and her ciructs would be competely flooded out or maybe even have a powerful wide spray hose you keep spraying at her
Went to see this in the cinema with my boyfriend, and we totally wrecked the horror aspects for each other, cause we're just like that. But always nice to see an actually decently made horror movie come out
It’s called “decent” by ppl because it’s NOT 100% horror lol. It’s more sci fun/comedy which is why many non horror fans love it. It’s not like The Conjuring
@@lessismore8533 I mean, we considered it "decent" because, as mentioned, we massively distracted each other making jokes through it (empty cinema, BTW, so we weren't bothering anyone.) I'm sure once I sit down to rewatch it, I'll have a more accurate view of the movie
The galloping is still my favorite part lol. PS my interpretation was Katie will be okay and can understand m3gan was a robot. She needed Gemma to see her and I think that's what was most important to her... Except lol Gemma will probably face criminal charges or at the least civil... People are dead bc of monster bot. Gemma didn't take the time to do it right... She was quite irresponsible.
You know, I recently became an uncle, so when I watched the movie, I tried to imagine how I would handle Gemma's situation. You don't have to worry about me building a real life M3GAN, though. I don't know anything about robotics, and I'm the last choice to be my nephew's guardian. I'll tell you one thing, though. I would not put up with Cady's disrespect. 20:11 If I was Gemma, I probably would've hit Cady right back. Which is exactly why I shouldn't be my nephew's guardian. 😅 Anyway, I loved the movie (I also rated it 8/10), and I can't wait for the sequel. PS, I can't believe you wanted M3GAN not to kill the dog. After he bit Cady, he needed to be put down.
*Well at least you acknowledge the fact that you shouldn't be your nephew's guardian, so I guess I can't get too upset with your comment!! A person should not....I repeat NOT hit a child unless they didn't have any other choice but if you have the option to refrain from hitting; it's best to avoid it. Cady wasn't acting out and being disrespectful for no reason!! She was injured in a freak accident and on top of that; she was mentally unstable because she lost both of her biological parents. The last thing she needs is a grown up acting 100 times worser than the way she acted!!! I think the aunt could've gotten her some professional help when she started misbehaving.... Therapy obviously wasn't good enough.*
Just got a chance to watch your reaction I thought it was outstanding through and at the end props! A lot of people that watch this move acts like it all took place in a week I’m sure it was a lot longer but if they went through day for day the movie 🍿 would have taken to much time and it would have been easy to lose interest by time the movie got started and they already limited the kills and did a PG Version instead of the unrated version like I said out of a lot of people I’ve seen you get this better than most keep up the great work and like I mentioned to others it would be nice to see you and others react to movies 🎥 🍿 in a more movie atmosphere environment with real surround sound for the best understanding of the movie🔈🍿 🎥 Peace ☮️ Out!
The ONLY thing that really bothered me in this movie was how nonchalant the neighbor and the cops were about the dog biting Cady. I’m not saying the dog should’ve been put down, but I feel like there should’ve been more…urgency…surrounding it. Here in Arkansas when a dog bites someone, even in defense of it’s master or the property, the dog is immediately taken to be tested for rabies. I also had a friend who lived in Florida and when his dog bit someone after being PROVOKED, the courts moved to have his dog put down. I still loved the movie, but that bit took me out of it because I felt it was a tad unrealistic. Do some states not care about dog bites, or something?
That's horrible, that the court can decide to end a dog's life just like that, with no alternative given. Especially after being provoked. Not meaning any offense but suing people really is an American thing to do :/
@@justjdnl If it makes you feel any better, he refused to hand his dog over and gave it to a friend in another city and told the authorities that his dog ran off. So, bittersweet ending, I suppose.
@@CocoCece08 That in particular is understandable. And horrible. I, myself have a wolf hybrid. He’s not even a year old yet and he’s very friendly, but I get ancy when he’s around kids.
This movie was kinda predictable esp after seeing the trailer but still enjoyable. I hope in the sequel M3gan transfers her data into a life-size Barbie doll and creates a team of robots like in the Terminator, Westworld and maybe even Transformers and takes over the world. Death to the human scum except for the innocent children they can brainwash.
I can't wait to see the unrated version of this movie! The kills will actually show this time and we all know that's what one of the most important things a horror movie should have! Memorable kills!
