Your relationship with him was going well after you took him back. He promised to be better, and you learned shortly in that he was diagnosed with depression a while back. Lately, he's been snippy, distant, back to his old ways. This time, however, you know what's happening. Maybe, this time, you can reach him.

If any of you struggle with these feeling. Just know that it does get better, it doesn’t happen over night. It’s going to take a while. And it’s going to suck. A LOT! But I promise you…taking tiny. Small steps is good. Good job for throwing away that plastic cup. You don’t have to clean your entire room. Small progress. Baby steps. You’re doing great. I promise you won’t regret it in the end.

I can tell that he's in conflict with his mind There's a part of him that doesn't want to give up and wanted to make up for everything he did but depression is making him doubt himself The script writer did a goodjob with this one and you definitely did an amazing job acting it out
