Johnson same. i think it would have to maybe use the iron in blood to magnetically hold them in place... i dont think thats possible, but idk how else this could work. if it somehow froze them in time, they wouldnt hear or see anything, and if it just made them lose all muscle control, their faces wouldnt be frozen in fear. ...im gonna have to make something like this to understand, arent i?

@@dumbiewhoshouldgotosleep5061 i was thinking more along the lines of a controlled amount of electricity being used to induce paralysis! possibly a constant level could be used in order to prevent the brain from being able to send electrical signals to muscles, but that would be impractical and likely to go wrong, the pure electricity used to block brain signals could cause seizing and once again, would not allow for breathing. So an initial shock to induce paralysis would be best, similar to inducing a coma I believe. However I don’t think I know enough about biological sciences to say if this would be feasible :/ i’m more a chemistry gal myself but the paralysis ray definitely is not using chemicals (which such because aside from anesthesia(makes one limp and unconscious) there are chemicals that would induce stiff body paralysis and allow for breathing! however i think that definitely wouldn’t work in this scenario, as the wave(???) we hear come from the gun is definitely not chemicals being distributed. also chemicals would not allow for a single target release. Regarding your use of electromagnetic hold, I don’t think it would be safe. Holding a human in place with magnetic force in an uncontrolled environment is just asking for small magnetic projectiles to come and possibly hit a paralysis victim. I addition I believe using an electromagnetic field to induce paralysis would likely interfere with blood flow, possibly causing a Pseudo stroke, even if it only effects those with a weak heart, messing with blood flow in any capacity like this would be a dangerous high risk side effect of using electromagnetic fields to induce what would be more of a pseudo paralysis.
