This comparison doesn't work anymore. The 105 Sherman at 3.0 is much more effective than the AVRE at 7.0 since they nerfed HESH into dogshit

This thing and the SU-122 are the most op tanks at that BR bracket. The SU-122 is arguably even better since it's a lower BR and have no weak spots at all unlike the Sherman which has the hull MG port and turret cupola.

Try up tiering it to 5.7 and fight panthers and tigers, u can kill a panther front on if you hit the lower mantlet and a tiger if you hit the cupola, if fact most vehicles you can kill at that br with a cupola shot if placed right, though you have to use HE

So im trying to ace all the shermans aced crew without buying. And so far the m10 and 105 are a pain to do at 4.0 but so satisfying when you get the knocks on enemies

I dont like sealclubbing much so when I use this, i often use it as a smoke launcher to blind the enemy so im still helping the team but not making it totally one sided

The low velocity 105 gun, is great for sending it over hills while your enemies are helpless to fire back

This weapon was attempt to change already good shermans 75mm HE for bigger shells for use against infantry. While gain some antitank abilities compared to originall 75mm APHE rounds. It was compromise between 75mm(originaly french designed Canon de 75 modèle 1897 fieldgun) and long 76mm (antitank gun)which HE wasnt that good.

@@michaelhowell2326I suggest watvjing some videos by The Chieftain om this. Short answer. 75 he had more explosive filler, as due to lower velocity the shells could do with weaker walls. With 76 you needed thicker walls on shells, so they were able to withstand higher rotation speeds given to them by higher velocity gun. Thus 77 he had less filler and lower effectivness.

If you get uptiered into one with a long 75 they can sometimes though I couldn't tell you range from memory

Tankenstein, not sure if this is just me but your recordings when doing faster camera movements skips like a frame or two making it seem your recording the game at a lower fps. Its a bit jarring as its hard to focus when the camera moves too quickly causing the jitter for the recording. Its just not smooth and ive noticed this for the last few videos, hoping you yourself would of noticed and fix but it would seem to not be so. I do enjoy your content, just the recording seems jittery at times to which i suspect is being recorded at a lower frame count
