Potential Listener concept: The wife in this story could be an old mafia boss, retired early due to a 1, terminal illness she had and 2, for her husband who needed major help taking care of himself, more help then she could offer with her job. Out of the pair, the Listeners more steady minded, but at the same time MUCH more fierce and brutal when you give her a reason to be. Her weapon of choice? A parasol with a shotgun built into it designed by her fucked up mentally unstable hubby ❤ Edit: also, she's DEFINITELY like 7 foot or unusually tall.

I have a thing for mad scientists (one of my biggest fictional crushes is Herbert West from the Re-Animator movies) so this is right up my alley. And quite accurate to how I'd actually act in this scenario, to be honest. Most of the time in things like this Y/N is horrified, but we were completely supportive of our husband's efforts and I really like that. I hope to see more of him in the future
