Every time velvet says "hiiii" The video of that little kid greeting his mom with the biggest toothless smile in the car just pops into my head, EVERY SINGLE TIME and that cuteness makes me ready to hear him say "hiii" all the time all day long
Velvet, that conversation at the end about feeling *different* really resonated with me. As someone with ASD I've struggled with masking and just letting myself be *myself* for a very very long time. I don't know, I was just really surprised to hear one of my favorite Bf Audio channels talk about feeling this way and having that *one person* who you just get to be your true self with (as cheesy as this sounds). Another great audio!
As ASD girl I can relate, but...talking about unmasking is easier than doing for me. It's like anytime I'm being "silly, goofy" it makes people make fun of me or they tell me I'm pretending to get attention...I still don't know what I'm doing wrong
@@kanna-chan666 Absolutely! I also have a very hard time unmasking around other people even friends. Sometimes I just feel super uncomfortable to act the way I usually would (in my own company for example) because I just know that they might judge me or think that I am just being weird. We're definitely not doing anything wrong, it's mostly just the people around us who don't *want* to understand that other's express themselves differently and not everyone acts the way they do. Being open is definitely key.
@@_the.black.sheep__ Well there's not many people around me I can be opened to. Most of the time I'm either too loud or too quiet and most of the time they say I should stop seeking attention, my teacher told my friend's father I'm a manipulative kid searching for attention and stuff when he called her about the bullying that's going on.
I remember laying in my bed one afternoon, and there was a massive thunderstorm going on. It was like constant thunder. I happen to like storms so I didn't particularly mind. But this one time made it to where I can no longer sleep well during storms. Lightning struck so close to the house that it didn't sound like a rumble, instead it sounded like someone cracked a bullwhip right next to my ear. The house shook, I shook, and the window right above my head cracked. If it had shattered I would have had to pick glass shards out of my eyes. I don't think anyone should feel shame about being afraid of storms, they're definitely not to be messed with, and even a regular thunderstorm can do a bit of damage.
I admit I once was afraid of thunder when I was a kid until I got over the fear (I admit I can’t stand the loudness, it’s no more than what it used to be) Still cute and sweet, makes me wanting to protect someone from thunderstorms with some cuddles and kisses (if allowed)

I'm kinda thinking these two might have clicked so well because they're both neurodivergent and the listener is just so light on the spectrum that they don't know yet (that's how it was for my friends and I). Kinda makes it sweeter because if the listener has an adversion to touch, that means they're willing to sacrifice that comfort zone for him.
My lights automatically turn off at a certain hour and it happened at the same exact time as the thunder sfx. I almost lost it, that was real fear for a second😭
