Great video. I started using tables for Euclidian rhythms last week. Works really well. A table per Euclidian interval. First table, 00 RET10 and 01 HOP00 (TIC06) next table move HOP00 to next interval and so on. In the phrase the note points to the table with the interval that you seek. The phase of the Euclidin cycle can easily be done with positioning the note in the phrase. It's Euclidian this way and not polyrhythm because the phrase length determines the loop time and the table the retrigger interval. Making the tables part of your template makes them always available.
Nice I'm not up to speed on Euclidean, other than using the one in the omx-27, You should post your template in resources channel on the Dirtywave discord if you are up for it, people would probably enjoy it.
Do you know if the new Firmware update is in the works? The last meetup video on RU-vid (where I get my update info from) mentioned a 3.0 update at some point - I was just curious if you had an inside scoop on that :)
3.0 is currently being developed. I know trash80 is trying to fit everything in so maybe it won't get all these features but a new synth called Hypersynth which is dedicated chord engine. It is 6 voices if I remember right and has a new supersaw. (Seen it in action it is brilliant). External synth another engine let's you control an external synth via midi and use the M8's amps. Filters fx etc. (Seen this in action). Lfo page is intended to be able to be 4 lfo's or 4 env. Or whatever combination you like. ADSR envelopes. Keytracking. A RAN left command. Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. It is not ready for Beta testing yet. Though should be out in next months
