Great stuff guys! 😉Thanks for giving a quick tour of the island, planning to visit Maldives and that sunset is such a beauty. I also enjoy getting lost and visiting places that are not touristy to really get a glimpse of how the locals live and your video just gave that.. awesome! Cheers from the Philippines😉

Maafushi is great for an insight into a public island in Maldives. Stayed at Arena in September 2019. A few mths later, we made our booking for Kaani Grand and were all set and packed to go again in March 2020 and then the borders closed just 1 day before we were supposed to fly out. Now Maldives just opened again for VTL for our country and we are planning to finish what we started…. Cant wait !
Hi, would you by any chance mind talking about what the weather was. I am thinking about going this September but am unsure if the rainy season is too much of a gamble weather wise.
@@nailadelalic3669 when we were there in September 2019, it was not a rainy season at all. All hot and sunny. We enjoyed the excursions, it wasn’t the peak period so there wasn’t a huge crowd of tourists everywhere. Btw, just an update, we revisited Maafushi in May 2022. It rained quite a bit such that for one of the snorkeling excursions, we had to cut short and missed the sand bar lunch break. But overall, still a lovely week- long getaway.
It's so clean and beautiful😍 no Polluted air, just fresh air😍 living there would be so many people dream as this place looks so peaceful. Surely, Maldives is heaven on earth. So many videos of different island of Maldives and all Islands looks so clean
The water has a blueish hue in this parts, due to alge maybe. But otherwise it is mostly clear . And moreover it is a public island, whereas a majority of the photos of Maldives are of the private islands. The eastern beaches of maafushi has some sea weed floating at places. The western beaches esp. The bikini beach is much cleaner
Well the entrance to the mini football field was locked when we went, and I think it might be reserved only for the local community, but I am not sure. You might contact the local authorities for access to the place. And the main playground was open during the afternoon on one ocassion when we visited. And there were locals playing soccer. I guess they will allow tourists to join them in their game if one wants to play
No sir, you will get only maldivan rupiah MVR from the ATM at MAAFUSHI. If you have USD or other currencies loaded in your card, then it will be converted to MVR.
Good day all. Pls apart from kaani grand sea view, which other hotels or guest houses are there in Maafushi island? Because I just checked kaani and it’s sold out 😢. Thanks y’all
Many are there, next to kaani grand, are arena beach hotel, kaani palm beach, both are good, kaani beach hotel.at a distance is also good, and there are many other hotels on the island, just check in google maps and you will know.
@@SunilKumar-gh2zp U should go to kaani palm beack or kaani grand seeview its located near the bikini beach Kaani palm beach has a pool and a nice view. Kaani grand seeview has a nice ocean view. And those 2 hotels arent that expenisve and both of the hotels are 4 star hotels
I really liked the island, such a relaxing place. Well it can get boring if you stay there for a long time. School is often boring for students, but the fact that it is very important in one's life especially for shaping up one's future, cannot be denied. So try to enjoy life (and not skip school) cause you have a lovely hometown amidst beautiful nature which unfortunately many of us do not have.
You must be talking about the bikini beach I presume. Please watch the video till the end, I have mentioned about the bikini beach in the end. It is the only designated place in Maafushi where you can wear swimwear (bikini etc), but other places are prohibited.
Well I do not have any experience at Seven Coral hotel, so I cannot say anything in this matter. But our hotel in maafushi, Kaani grand was quite nice. There is a room review video of Kaani Grand in this channel which you may check out. :)
@@LifeTracksandHacks . I was expressing my experience as I had to be there and spend one week with hading bad experiences. I though to move on but Manager not willing to pay our dues back for rest day otherwise we must check Kanni as it seems much better than Seven coral
I do understand sir, I was just saying I do not know anything about seven coral hotel. That's all. And your experience/ feedbacks are always welcome as they might be helpful for future travellers.
@@LifeTracksandHacks because if I would do something wrong that is normal in western world I will land in prison or get whipped. I wouldn't go to Dubai either. I just don't trust country where islam is religion. Beside when woman get raped in Maldives it is her fault and she get whipped. I boycott islam countries as well.
Well religion, it is a very sensitive topic.. and every place has it's customs.. And there is no denying that some places have their risks too.. Be it anywhere for that matter.. So i would not go deeper into this for now... But I would also like to mention here that, as a tourist in Maldives, my personal experience was good, people were friendly and welcoming.. Overall it was a nice experience.
