I really don’t understand why anyone would differentiate between Muslims who want to impose their political system and those that don’t. Quran 9:29 calls Muslims to subjugate or subjugate non-Muslims. Subjugation is only available for “people of the book. Those of us who are not Christians or Jews, if we refuse to convert to Islam, are to be executed. If a Muslim doesn’t believe in doing what the Quran calls them to do, then why call him or herself a Muslim? It makes no sense to me. Islam IS a political system with religious overtones.
The criticism of what Maadjid said here is that Tommy Robinson aka Steven Yaxley Lennon as he says never said go out and riot, he said protest peacefully and disavowed any of the violence that was happening but also did say what do you expect to happen. Just like Maajid said about the Muslim blackshirts coming out in response. People forget Steven Yaxley Lennon held a protest in London before those girls got stabbed that was the largest protest except the free palestine and there was no violence. So I don't know why there is a difference between what he and Farage have been saying. Either they're in the same camp or they're not regardless of Farage not wanting to associate with him

Primitive people have primitive religions and cultures. Read all of the popular sacred texts and you will have a pretty good idea of the level of primitivity of the people who believe in them. The followers appearance and behaviour will make a lot of sense to you and you will know why you don't want certain people to pollute your cities, towns and villages with their presence.

Pete, just to mention a correction. Maajid mentioned Terry Venables in the Jamie Bulger case think he meant Jon Venables. I know El Tel managed Tottenham but think that association maybe a little harsh.
