Maastricht is such a beautiful city. Always so full of life but there's a serenity to it that's hard to explain. Maybe because of the beautiful architecture and the city's incredibly friendly people!
Thank you martijn! I went to the park and clapped a jonko with my beautiful wife and we went to the sint servaas bridge. We walked to the drielandenpoint but we got lost and it ended up taking about 13 hours to walk. Thank you for this detailed tour of mastrecht!
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
My family have lived in Maastricht since 1800, they still live there. As for me i was born in Maastricht but only lived there for a short time. Have lived all over the world and travelled far. Fabulous insight into Maastricht and I enjoyed immensely. Australia -New Zealand- South Africa the globe..
@@MartijnAroundTheWorld Thank You! I was hoping you would have a video on Den Haag soon. I am planning on expatriating out of the United states in a few years. Your videos have been helpful in making a decision! I will stay tuned!

There was a time when I didn't have bread at home, but I would have suffered because of that and I would say, I hope no one else has to suffer, poverty and A period of plague makes you kinder to other people." Hi Kathia. Maastricht is a famous student city in the Netherlands. At the moment bars and clubs are closed because of Covid, but normally it's crowded (mostly around "het vrijthof". Other nice student cities are Utrecht and Leiden.
@@MartijnAroundTheWorldThank you. it was also the city where in 1992 a treaty between the Western European nations was signed agreeing to end trade barriers between themselves and do away with customs. It was called the Maastricht Treaty.
