We took the Gimbal Walk Travel Channel cameras for a walk from Mablethorpe Town Centre, along the high street and up onto the promenade and seafront for a full tour of this fantastic British holiday destination.

Changed a bit since I was there but thats neary 60 years ago. We used to be up the other end, there used to be a petrol driven ride and what we used to call "swing boats". There was a cafe I believe was called The smugglers cove" and a row of wooden chalets. Oh the memories.

Never been to Mablethorpe before and didn't know where it was!, viewing your video, I like the beach, the best!,I like a long and big beach ,where the sea goes out a long way. I love the seaside and would love to live there permanently, but I could never afford it!, if I did live by the sea, I would be on the beach all the time, either walking or sitting watching the waves going in and out and just listening to the sea and seagulls, you could say I'm obsessed with traditional seaside towns, but my favourite is Cornwall.

A massive part of my childhood , from the late 70s all the way through the 80s we used to spend 2 weeks at Golden sands , the whole family went it was fantastic , i keep thinking i have to go back and holiday there once again purely for nostalgia ! , thanks for the upload !

Mablethorpe is another awesome place to visit and explore with a lot of stores, restaurants, and other local businesses and the beach is also very beautiful and nice I'm really enjoying your videos of the small seaside towns and until next time thank you.🇬🇧👋🇬🇧

Thanks for showing the paddling pool , many happy hours spent here back in the early 60's with my battery powered model cabin cruiser. Mablethorpe holds all my childhood memories.

Been binge watching your videos for a few days. Love them, you do a great job. This one I noticed Fish and Chips £5. I think I need to move there as where I am on London/Kent borders, the cheapest small fish and chips for two is £37. Thank you for all the walking you do for us viewers.

Mablethorpe is another good place in Skegness one of my family members live in mablethorpe and she loved it there and I do two I may not know my whole way around it yet but I’m going learn this year 🎉❤

Mablethorpe looks like a place my mum would have loved 😍. 🍦, 🐟 n 🍟, bingo and the sea ⛵. I love the beach 🏖️ hut festival idea etc. I'll definitely put it on my list. Disappointed that you didn't mention how huge the beach ⛱️ was 😉😉

An abundance of fish and chip shops here, I bet it's nicer than we get in the South, and cheaper too. I've never been here, I went to Skegness once which had a lovely beach, but this beach is amazing. Thankyou for your brilliant videos.

Not been to Mablethorpe for many a year. Used to visit yearly as a kid. You are right the area in queens park was for crown green bowls, looking at the video it doesnt appear to be in good shape nowadays. Wednesday nights used to be exiting with the regular RAF flight drills from Donna Nook. Sutton on sea a few miles to south is a very quiet but nice seaside town, more a place for people of a senior age.

I like Mablethorpe, although not been for many years. Lovely, wide and clean beach with soft sand. A nice place for a few days at the seaside.

Went every year through 60s and 70s as a family holiday stayed at Baxter’s in Waterloo rd loved it loved it loved it . I know the place like the back of my hand. Still have the odd day trip brill. Derby is about the furthest you can live from any seaside !! Keep up the good work. Have you ever been to sa coma in Majorca? Maybe plan a visit

We were there 3 weeks ago, they need to update the city limits sign to read "Sorry We Are Closed". Good luck if you want something to eat in the town, you have to travel 5 miles for food. Never going back.

There seems to be a big difference between the towns/villages in the south and the north, i think the south is much more to my liking, lot's more history and charm in my opinion, i do admit the beaches are just as nice,
