Mabopane's forgotten stadium 

The ANC would rather recommend a tender to construct another stadium next to it, for the benefit of cadres. A good example is the duplication of the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.

It's not only Mabopane Stadium, Mmabatho Stadium and the entire sports complex is rotting away. There is no leadership expert leadership in stealing public funds.

The days of Mr Kgosi Lucas Mangope were days of glory inspite of him being demonised as a Bantustan leader or even a sellout but he did economically empower the people Boputhatswana. I was part of a sports team representing KwaZulu Finance Corporation coming from Durban in 1993 to play against Boputhatswana Finance Corporation competing against each other in various codes of sports we stayed and played in Mabopane stadium and we had a lovely time there.

The worst thing that could happen if the stadium renewal project actually got funded, is that the investors would get coerced at gun point to include people of a certain popular political party. They did it with Mabopane Square shopping complex, in fact the guy who got awarded the tender to build it was shot and killed. So Mabopane has political vultures flying around forcing their way into building projects to just steal money. I wonder why the eskom issue in Morula View wasn't reported as well.
