He had a great rookie season.Even tho he had bad season last year and it was because of Matt Patrica. He will have a good season and prove them wrong for doubting him.
It had nothing to do with Matt Patricia. It had everything to do with the guy who HIRED Matt Patricia. The debacle that was the 2022 season falls squarely on Belichick's shoulders. HE and ONLY he is to blame for that clusterfuck.
@@ademirsegura6307 Belichick should have been FIRED for that gaff. It was the dumbest staff hire in the history of the NFL and it should have cost Belichick his job. Anyone else, at ANY level of football, would've been fired for a mistake that obviously STUPID.
@@ademirsegura6307 I disagree. First off, he would NEVER relinquish his GM duties and agree to continue to coach. No chance in hell. Secondly, he's had enough miscues over the last few years to justify his dismissal. He blew a Super Bowl by benching his best cornerback. He traded away Garrapolo for only a 2nd round pick. He grossly misjudged how much Brady had left in the tank. He had NO PLAN whatsoever for Brady leaving, despite WANTING him to go. And then, finally, the Patricia/Judge running the offense blunder that was nothing short of a complete clusterf*ck. If he can let Brady walk, just one year after winning a Super Bowl, then surely Kraft could let Belichick go, FIVE YEARS from his last playoff victory. He's 71 years old. He has failed to keep up with the changes in the league. Currently he is trying to build this team like it's 1993. He's 25-25 without Brady. You can get a lot of coaches to go .500 for a LOT less than $20-$25 million per year. Oh, and finally, HE'S CHEAP! If Kraft is to be believed, Bill simply refuses to pay players what they're worth. He got away with that nonsense in the Brady era but that shit isn't gonna fly now.
LETS GOOOOOO MAC 10 come on man you're gonna prove the haters wrong !!! With a proper offensive system and checks kinda tough to beat the other team when you're not properly coached !!
why the fuck did the patriots pick up Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith if not to make them red zone targets? 2022 Pats season will always be wholly defined as the year they tried a season without an OC.
When they decided to run the ball on every play during that windy Buffalo game. My opinion on him started to go down because lets be honest if Brady was out there that ball would have been thrown
Dang... this video really made me reflect and feel bad for Mac. I personally am not a big fan of Mac but it must have been rough hearing the fans chant for Zappe. I hope Mac proves me wrong and bounces back.
Yep. I was laughing at every fans on Christmas Eve when they chanted Zappe. Once Patricia finally started making the right plays the second half of that game and getting Bourne in, Jones went off crazy against Bengals. It's clear the playcalls were just bad all season.
@@TylnortonI watched every game last season and I thought Mac Jones has played was just as bad as Matt Patricia's play-calling so it was a dual. As the Patriots fan I'm pulling for him, but as a guy who's watched the the last 18 consecutive NFL seasons I kind of feel like I know what a great NFL quarterback looks like or even a good one for that matters and it's not him. I feel like he panics when pressure gets to Queens and throws up bad passes and that's been my thing going all the way back to before Matt Patricia. Just look at the last five games of his rookie season.
@@TheRealMRGG85 If we can get a good O-line going and BOB getting the receivers lined up right, I feel we would see improvements. Obviously if we don't see any improvement with Jones as QB, I do think it would be time to explore other options.
I hope zappe gets the job even if it means taking 5 L’s in a row to start the season. Zappe is way way way better in the pocket. He doesn’t see ghosts like mac. He also can do his down field checks which mac can’t do. He panics after his first read isn’t open. He hangs in the pocket to long until he decides to move or throw it away
If I see him out there dancing and trying to do the gritty again I'll bounce my head of a brick wall!!! You are trying to win over bill belichick and the starting position of a team that was lead by the goat of all quarterbacks and your out there doing the gritty?? This kid definitely ain't it, mark my word! Mac Jones is not a championship, perennial all star type player! The gritty???lol
