Thanks, Amanda! It was hard to find reviews on this collection for some reason!! I am picking up two lipsticks, the two darker ones. Happy Lunar New Year to you too!
Thank you for the MAC reviews! No one does MAC reviews anymore. Everyone has to try the new studio fix radiance foundation! It’s so beautiful!! I was skeptical but I tried it on at the store and it blew my mind. The shades are beautiful, it has a cooling sensation and a glow with no sparkles.
It’s a lunar new year collection, so they’ll be dragon scales on the blushes 😅 I love that peachy blush, I think it would work on olive undertones whereas most peaches don’t, just wish it wasn’t so expensive
Even better that it’s LOVEstruck Luck collection in the year of the dragon so it’s very clever to make heart shaped scales 🥰 I really appreciate details like that!
Oh man, I was so excited to see a new video go up. But then so disappointed it was Mac, another "We're cruelty free, but not really because we lie brand." It would be amazing to see more influencers stop promoting brands that test, or allow testing, on animals. It's not like there's a shortage of brands that don't test on, or allow someone else to test on, animals 🤔
Probably 90%+ of the brands I feature are CF so there are lots of vids here that might suit your tastes better! I've never been or claimed to be a purely cruelty free channel, though I realize it is the top priority for a lot of folks and I definitely respect that 😊
Any brand that sells in China has to have those products tested on animals, Mac doesn’t do the testing to create their products, it is tested after the fact before it is allowed to hit Chinese market. As that is the case a “safe for human use” product is slathered on a rabbit, dog, monkey etc per Chinese laws which means the animal is not harmed as would be the case in R&D testing. They are pretty clear about the fact that they do not test on animals in making products, they are also pretty clear about the Chinese market requiring testing to be on market. I do not see any lies.
@@MakeupJustForFun I really enjoy your reviews and your tutorials and I wasn't mad at you or anything. It was just the first time I'd caught a notification for so early and I was excited. But then, admittedly disappointed, it is what it is. I still enjoy the majority of your content 💜
@@omegasobsessions Ok, they mislead, like any other company who sells in physical stores in China, by keeping the full truth way down, in smaller print. If they only sell online, they don't have to allow any animal testing in China. It's only when they have a brick & mortor that China requires testing. If a company allows testing, then technically they're not doing the testing themselves. But to make as much $ as possible, they're willing to be unethical and let someone else do the testing. That means they don't test on animals. But if they allow it to happen, then they are not cruelty free. And, sure, those animals in China, perfectly fine I'm sure 👍🏻
