A lot of people are going to have a great morning tomorrow when they see all these songs available for their drive to wherever they may be vibing too. I know there's a lot of people in tears and smiling tonight.
Mac was there at every stage of my life. He was dropping party anthems when I was in high school, publicly struggling with depression when I was at my lowest point on WMWTSO, deciding not to give into the depression as I was fighting back on Good AM, falling in love as I was realizing that I wanted to marry my girl on divine feminine, and then realizing that he’s never outrun his demons but that maybe he could learn to live with them on swimming. Here I am having learned that same lesson, coming off of a major turning point and one of the best years of my life and circles drops... fuck man what the fuck am I supposed to do when there’s no more coming? I literally grew up with Mac. Almost like a best friend. You were supposed to be there for everything bro. You me and all the fans were supposed to keep living through all the big moments together. I wanted the marriage album. The new dad album. I still don’t know how I’ll get through those without you but I’m damn sure appreciative for everything you did get me through. we miss you bro. Love you Mac. 92 till infinity.
You just gotta carry on and show as many new people his music as you can. In a way, every new fan you turn on to Mac keeps him alive because it keeps his music going. Cheesy as hell, but still true.
Mac Millers comment section is probably the most wholesome place on the internet, just goes to show what kind of effect he had on the world. R.I.P. Malcolm
@@titeluofficial8428 , I think you should give it some time. The moment you forget what you were looking for, it will hit you what it all means. And it ALL means something. See you on the other side, in due time.
this is actually a cover of Everybody’s Gotta Live, by Love, a rock band from the 60s. this version makes the song more melancholic, and in my perspective, it suits perfectly how mac was feeling and it suits his style pretty good. i’m so glad he covered this
I was playing Mac in my car with my Dad and he said "Who's this?" And after I told him it was Mac he said "He sounds like the Beatles, like Paul McCartney." That made me smile.
Joseph - my bestfriend loved Mac & he loved the Beatles. My bestfriend passed in May of 2019 to an overdose. When this album hit, the emotions did too. When this song played I couldn’t stop but put it on repeat bc it reminded me of the Beatles so much. Mac was our favorite to vibe too, and this song specifically would have been his favorite.
Lou jwaip he was pure, he did drugs but remained attached to everyone and his music is inspiring althoug passing away. that’s not something easy to accomplish
My son looked just like Mac. Same face, same sad puppy dog eyes, same facial hair, same expressions and mannerisms. He was his same age and he died 3 months after he died of the same cause. I come here to remember.
Just the sound of his voice is enough to bring back many many memories, mac was a man who could speak directly to someone's heart in one way or another. It's hard hearing these new songs but we all can appreciate this man for how great he was. He made those who felt like outcasts fit in and also made the ones who felt like they had no one have someone. He was different, he was special. He was just himself.💯🤧
“Everybody’s gotta live. Everybody’s gonna die.” It’s a fact of life, but he went too soon. It’s like he knew which makes it all the more heartbreaking.
@@jakabgipsz8150 Damn straight, gonna be getting a tattoo on Tuesday "memento mori" like he carved in Self Care. His music's gotten me through a lot of rough spots in my life
naw it really was that part that got me was the blind man playing blues its a cover but still thoes lyrics sung by mac and the production was amazing to me aswell as the main hook or wtv u call it
it's from arthur lee! I don't understand why this isn't on the title nor the description. I'm reading so many comments from lost people here. smh... It's a great cover but please do yourselves a favour and go check the original too
It just feels like he knew his time was coming and left a legacy, this couldn’t be a better time to drop this, seems all the best are dropping new music this week, circles should be the number one album
@@ZaneTv254 let me know what you think man! The song is called What's In The Eye by Grey Daze - his first band. They started rerecording their old music before he died and just now started to release it
Ask Portland TV I had forgotten about it, I loved it, I’m glad they kept his vocals intact, and mastered the recording around it, I can’t wait to hear more
I'm not gonna pretend that I've always been his fan,I started to listen to his music a little before his death, when I watched that Tiny Desk Concert video he made I noticed he was really talented, and listening to this song gave me goosebumps,I felt nostalgic and missed him at the same time, eventhough I haven't been a fan for that long...I guess that's how good of an artist he is
Same here, but i started listening to him sometime aftet Self Care dropped. But never really been a fan until sometime after his passing. Sad i didnt found earlier.
Bro I’ll miss you man I grew up with you and felt like I lost a piece of myself when you passed . I was in jail waiting to go to prison at the lowest point in my life and bam you were gone .... but your music man that’s what has helped me all these years idk if there’s a god but Mac if you read this man I am proud to call myself a fan 😢
This album deserves more than a Grammy. Mac deserves more than a nobel. There hasn't been a term coined to justify how much he deserves the ultimate best.
I hope he does the same for my Nan when she goes... shes under a seizure induced comma, and this album, dropped the day before it all happened. Whether she likes his music or not, I'm not to sure however hope she will/does. Apparently she liked Jimmy Hendricks, which is literally news to me, like legit, she never told me any music she liked even when I asked. So I hope a person who's music came at such a time, with such an emotional drive behind it, enough to make me happy and sad at the same time, is able to get along with her if she leaves us. Peace to all with simlar thoughts as Dako above and anyone in a similar situation as me n the fam.
Everybody's gotta live, and everybody's gonna die Everybody just wanna have a good, good time I think you know the reason why Oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh [Verse] Everybody's gotta live, and everybody's gonna die Everybody's gotta live, I think you know the reason why Yeah, sometimes the going gets so good, yeah But then it can get pretty rough, yeah But when I have you in my arms baby You know I just can't, I just can't get enough Everybody's gotta live, and everybody's gonna die And everybody’s gonna try to have a good, good time I think you know the reason why Saw a blind man standin' on the corner, baby, yeah And he couldn't hardly tie his shoes, yeah Harmonica and guitar strapped around his neck, oh But he sure could, he sure could play the blues, yeah Everybody's gotta live, everybody's gonna die, yeah Everybody's gonna try to have a good good time I think you know the reason why, yeah Feel like I've seen a million sunsets, yeah If you're with me I'll never go away That's when I stopped and took a look at my baby She said if you're with me, I won't go away Because everybody's gotta live, and everybody's gonna die
It’s Miller time. Mac & cheese for dinner. Times are tough. Drive for show putt for dough. Wedge out of the rough. Miss grandmas fudge as Christmas time.
He died in such a way where he left himself in such a soft and romantic state, it’s the best goodbye gift he could of given, he is now and eternally forever young, we will grow old and remember the joy we had with young Mac that’s how it will stay to infinity. 💙
mattyvtherealg there is no debate we all leave one day and the way he left was at least with all the gentle energy he could put into beautiful songs wether or not he taught certain people things through the years we were able to share with him is irrelevant we enjoy this certain period till we’re gone and possibly see him again. 💙
im not trying to kill the poetic vibe of this comment thread, but dying of an overdose isn’t soft or romantic, although i understand what you’re trying to say. mac would be horrified with how he died. he never wanted to be another overdose, he’s said it repeatedly, this is NOT how he wanted to go or “how it had to be”. i don’t mean to be negative here but.... romanticizing overdoses really isn’t a good idea. i love mac with my whole heart and i agree that this album is an amazing gift to us all but.... idk. just felt like that needed to be said. he wouldn’t want to be remembered by the way he died. he’d want to be remembered by the way he lived, his music and the legacy he leaves behind, his smile. his laugh. his jokes. his philosophy. i think it’s best to almost forget the way he died - to just remember that it was sudden and too soon. i don’t think it’s the way it had to be. i think it’s a tragedy that he went like that. i don’t mean to attack anyone’s opinions or their words here - full respect and much love to all who love mac - i just... this didn’t sit right with me.
LYRICS: Everybody's gotta live And everybody's gonna die Everybody just wanna have a good, good time I think you know the reason why Oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh Everybody's gotta live And everybody's gonna die Everybody's gotta live I think you know the reason why Yeah, sometimes the going gets so good, yeah But then again it get pretty rough, yeah But when I have you in my arms, baby You know I just can't, I just can't get enough Everybody's gotta live And everybody's gonna die Everybody’s gonna try to have a good, good time I think you know the reason why Saw a blind man standin' on the corner, baby, yeah And he couldn't hardly tie his shoes, yeah Harmonica and guitar strapped around his neck But he sure could, he sure could play the blues Everybody's gotta live And everybody's gonna die Everybody's gonna try to have a good, good time I think you know the reason why, yeah Feel like I've seen a million sunsets, yeah If you're with me I'll never go away That's when I stopped and I took a look at my baby She said, "If you're with me, I won't go away" Because everybody's gotta live And everybody's gonna die Everybody's gonna try to have a good, good time I think you know the reason why Love you Mac.
This one hurt... “everybody’s gotta live, everybody's gotta die.” Not only does this remind me of Macs passing, it reminds me of everyone I’ve ever known who’s passed. Thank you for Mac, we miss and love you down here.🖤

I see people mentioning how they’ll miss his voice. On this track “I think you know the reason why” the “know” when he hits that high note speaks a lot. For me, I’ll miss how groovy this man was, throwing in little things like that.
I'm barely hanging on right now. I think this album is the only thing keeping me alive at the moment. Mac probably wouldn't believe the impact he truly had on people.
I cant express how happy i am to hear that you are getting clean. I know some stranger's opinion on the internet isn't exactly the best motivational words, but i know that's what mac wanted; having his music heal and encourage others. Keep it up man, we're rooting for you =)
Haven’t had sleep in 2 days, lost a homie to a car accident this morning. Man when will my mind rest. Rest up Bryce until I see you again❤️ (I love yall❤️ thank you all for your condolences 🙏🏽 bless you all ❤️) [Edit] Been doin better love yall, We like family.💙 MOST DOPE 92 - ♾
My husband was a HUGE fan and actually looks almost exactly like mac miller, our one year old LOVES this song so much and they dance to it together and it makes me cry 🥺
His band is so on point bring up the sadness and depression in his lyrics… they feel mac on another level and match his beauty in instrumental form. Can’t stop listening to this song. Come back to earth saved my life.
This song just suits what's going on in this world so perfect. I hope everyone feels love and just know in this time of darkness there's still people like me who are thankful to have shared this life with Mac and all you wonderful people.. just keep swimming
When I listen to Mac I realize that I play my self everyday. I keep faking my mental stability so well that I fool my self. It isn’t until I have break down that I realize how close to the end I am. It a dangerous dance. Idk I might be crazy guys. Sorry I know this ain’t the forum for this shit.
I feel exactly the same dude. Just know that there is a light at the end of the dark and somehow, someway, someday we are all gonna get pulled out of it. Hope you are doing well though
You made it this far, I feel the same a lot. But dont consider the times that you're "fine" as a lie, it's just the going ain't always rough bro. When we break down it's just too much. Breaking down is the resolution sometimes. Next time you break down, try raging to this song. You can't. It helps man. Every day we all get closer to the end. Your pain is real, but dont take the life you have for granted man. Make mac proud even through the struggles
