I just started listening to mac miller and have never appreciated music more, I just listen to ros for the further time today and cried such a good song
I’m having another boy, by next Friday. I’m naming him after Mac Miller, man really pulled me out of the lowest place of my life. Rest easy big dawg 🤞🏻 Edit: 7/24 she’s in labor, baby Malcolm is on his way ❣️ Edit 2: He’s here. ❤️ Last edit: Thank you all for all the likes and support! Baby Mac is doing amazing and my new job is going smooth! I went from working a minimum wage job to clearing 1000$ a week, not bragging by any means because it’s still not enough to put me ahead, but it makes life much easier although I’m working away with a newborn, kinda sucks. Another update 1/29 we have two babies, baby Malcolm who absolutely adores Mac and little Maverick lane who’s 3 months old and doing amazing, and for anyone that wants to judge me being 23 with kids, I was adopted at birth by elderly parents and I’m blessed to be able to let them experience what it’s like to be grandparents before the inevitable.
Huge shoutout to Mac's family for how they've handled his estate. Circles itself was perfectly managed, and now releasing older projects for his fans to enjoy and to keep Mac's love of music alive forever is a beautiful thing to see 🕊
@@KayMens3 Lol na man you're so wrong. They're cutting corners all over the place. You obviously haven't bought any merch from the last two years (cheapest and lowest quality merch I've ever seen from any artist), or bought the swimming in circles box set (dodgiest pressings ever know to man) and not to mention all the samples they didn't bother to pay to be cleared. I know some of those samples not being cleared Mac wouldn't be cool about. I believe no matter what it cost, they should have released the tracks as Mac produced them. Instead they cut corners and somehow are fine living wth it just to save a small a bit of cash, as if they don't have enough from him already. Like that main piano on the re issue of Diablo kills me. It's sound so shit compared to the original and its permanent and they're all ok with it just to save a bit of cash which wasn't even earned by themselves. Good luck to them I reckon.
@@chriswalters5891 atleast its music they know he wanted to release, streams barely make any money on top of that so if his parents are doing good I'm happy
Opening this up gave me so many mixed emotions, it was like that friend called you out of the blue that you haven't spoken to in years. Makes you realize how much you missed them. Oof.
It's so crazy to me how you can truly miss and love someone you never met. I can't imagine the void his true friends and family are feeling to this day. We love you Mac.
I remember taking a 2 hour walk when swimming dropped. It was like midnight. I walked through some random ass country roads while listening to it. I was in a bad place, but at the time I was fully absorbed into the music bro. I think it was maybe a month later I see you have died, on Instagram. This shit hit me hella hard, it was like losing a bestfriend and a piece of your whole process of growing up. I will always remember you dog, always.
My son introduced me to Mac Miller back in 2016. I’m 41 this month and I’m addicted to his voice, style, talent. I don’t even like rap lol. It doesn’t matter what mood I’m in. He has music for all of them. I love Mac. My favorite song is Ladders. But I love all his music. I wish I would have gone with my son to see him live before he passed. Thank you to his family for keeping him alive. It means so much. ❤
"I dont even like rap" thats pretty much me and i'm literally addicted to this dude. If I'm not at work or asleep you can bet I got our boy blasting all over my town. One love x
There's so much in the vault just waiting away on some hard drive collecting dust...it's sad man, mac would want the people to hear...it's for the music man!
I found out about Mac's death when I woke up at 1030pm before my night audit shift at hotel. Hated working nights. Mac, norm macdonald, chael sonnen, and art bell got me through those 11-7s. 4 years later im a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Really hope I can visit the Pitt one day to visit his grave. If anyone reads this who is not happy where they currently are, know that better days are out there for you just keep patient with your eyes peeled. You'll find your opportunity. It is up to YOU
His spirit lives on, tripping mushrooms on my bed to one of his live concerts made me feel it right in my chest. I've cried, yet now I'm smiling cause he was here
Broooooo you hit the nail on the head! He saves us thru his music through and through ! But I think he chose this path knowing this was his destiny! To be intertwined in his music subliminally and live forever through his art!(even if it came with a price) which he took and ran with it. Consequently and sadly we lost him in the process but everything GREAT comes with a price! He knew what he was doing! Let’s not feel sad and feel amazing he chose to live forever! I’m inspired to do the same, to find my purpose and accept it to the fullest and to be able to inspire others to do the same and keep the cycle going. Mac would have wanted that. 🪷 “Don’t Trip” - Mac
@@leonchrist66 bro same I quit my full time life long career for my passions and dreams. Have faith someone told me. Don’t hope just have faith. Oh and “Don’t Trip” (like Mac would say) along the way just keep “Swimmin”.
@@leonchrist66 I quit my full time electrical job as a journeyman electrician to go back to school and get my engineering degree AND volunteer at my weekly Revision night to be around the youth and help mentor and cater to them. It’s a hip hop community night where the youth can dance, hang out, and interact with one another in a safe environment where they are offered free hot meals and unlimited time invested in them. I don’t draw or do art but I’m mechanically inclined and I am great with my hands and building things from scratch. Also I am Bgirl and I love to dance. Wby? What do your passions involve?
His beats were so abstract once he found his true inner artist. Yes, it took a plethora/combination of drugs for him to find this level of creativity. But, once he unlocked his ability to write and really master his wordplay, along with his production, the drugs weren't needed anymore for his greatness. He simply enjoyed getting high. But, don't think this man wasn't a 🐐. Once he found his craft, he simply perfected it!
bruh drugs don't magically give you creative powers they just change your perspective on some things. same thing can be achieved just from thinking differently.
@@43liL everything is drugs fam Im just saying not everyone can go take shrooms and K for 2 weeks straight and produce a good album. Mac is an angel and there won't ever be an artist like him ever again. Guy's comment said Mac "needed" drugs to be that creative, which I don't agree with. Mac was blessed with talent and a curious mind before he could read. you don't magically get that when you become a drug addict. I could easily argue drugs didn't help mac's music at all and he could have made even better music for years to come without any influence from drugs but that's not how life played out so I won't. also lemme guess you think the "right ones" are shitty cut Molly at a festival mixed with fake acid and white claws
He “saved so many lives” which is why he was slayed / assassinated like so many others .. Tupac, Chester Bennington, Bob Marley, to name a few… WE the PEOPLE are in True power 🙏 And We want JUSTICE
To the McCormick family and all those involved in preserving Mac’s legacy-You are doing an incredible job. Thank you for keeping fans engaged with Malcolm’s art. He was a once in a lifetime kind of musician.

I know some of those samples not being cleared Mac wouldn't be cool about. I believe no matter what it cost, they should have released the tracks the same as Mac made them but I guess thats a little too much to ask when theres profits involved. Finally! My fav mixtape after Faces🙏🏽 I miss you everyday Mac🥀 It’s hard man💔 Always wanted to meet you brother, you don’t know how much you changed my life. Hopefully we will meet up there. 🕊
Imagine how his music would sound today if he was still here… 😭 his sound was very distinct and unique. No other rapper can give me the same vibe Mac did.
i am from South Africa and i have never met Mac but the love i have for him is that of a brother of mine. love you mac. continue to rest in peace . i miss you everyday.
I’m gonna miss all these SoundCloud exclusives, grew up listening to the best Mac music on SoundCloud. Time to share with the world. God bless to whoever reads this!!
so special that his estate continues to handle his music with grace and care. i cannot express my appreciation. i miss mac so much. thank you forever ♥︎
just wanna say i was going through it this year and decided to move to Pittsburgh to feel closer to the memory of Mac and it’s been magical being here. thank you guys for letting him live on through his music
everytime i see old videos of him i get happy again, to see him there performing smiling just being happy is really putting a smile on my face, i really miss him ❤
I’m devastated, I’ll never get to see Mac irl or perform but his music still keeps me alive and I’m sooo thankful for his music. Remember guys if u wanna do something go do it life is never guaranteed

extraño a Mac, sin embargo me ha enseñado que por peor que vaya la vida siempre habrá esa parte que debemos mostrar para seguir aprendiendo de la vida, gracias Mac por todo esto 🕊️❤️
Mac really impacted my life while growing up. It hurts my heart to know he isn’t here w us anymore to make new music as I grow older. 27 now and I still and will forever bump Mac 🔥 he got me through a lot of rough times 🙏💙
I’m a new Mac fan I only started listening to him since last year, but he has quickly become one of my top 3 favorite rappers. Having a new album out is bringing me to tears knowing that he won’t perform it on stage and I’ll never get to see/ meet him. He just seems like the most genuine soul. Ever. Miss you Mac
I told Mac this was one of my favorite mixtapes at a meet and greet, he was definitely faded and I think he forgot about it for a second lmao; one of the greatest performers I've ever had the pleasure of seeing.
If I remember correctly this came out right around 🛝 , was bumping it on the way to the Fox theater to see him live for the tour which was for my birthday, blue slide came out on Nov 8 2011, the day I turned 18. Long live Mac, one of the GOATS.
The nostalgia is 💯!! I tuned in for his music but was more enamored and captivated by the man that he was. Genuine, authentic and humble. There was only one Mac and there will never be another. Rest easy Bro🙏🏼
Dude How Rare This Playlist is. Like Who Does This All in One Video & it’s Own Audio. Plus the Promotion of This Mixtape Was Something Special in of itself. We All Love & Remember Mac.
