Why do people keep saying “This band is underrated” or “ drummer is underrated.” Who is underrating them? This band and the members within are highly respected within the Metal Community. They were one of the first Death Metal bands 1986/1987 so technically they are one of The Godfather’s of DeathMetal/Grindcore
@@bultronlagore4932 I totally get where you are coming from. But at the same time I have never met many DIE HARD Macabre fans. Not like you would with Death or Carcass fans. I don't quite know why it is but no one really seems to talk about them much.. BUT.. when they do eventually come up it is nothing but admiration and respect.

Very well captured video with a very non camera shy occult status underground metal band that knows how to write and perform with surgical precision. Macabre are great!
This is probably one of the most morbid death metal bands I know, because not all of the songs are super heavy, but scary. A song like "Coming To Chicago", that's a really happy melody, but fucking cruel lyrics, which give it a very creepy effect. There aren't many bands which do that. If you look at, say, Cannibal Corpse, which is also a great band, all of their songs are quite heavy. Macabre has a lot of dark humour in their songs, which makes it more morbid than Cannibal. Fantastic band!
They also understand songwriting, which most death metal bands are clueless on. Macabre has been top quality since day 1, very catchy songs. Closing in on 40 years of perfection. If ever a death metal band were inducted to the rock n roll hall of fame, it should be Macabre.
I know my mother was pretty negligent about what my choice of music as a kid, but fuck! MOM! When I was seven she gave me 3 CD´s one was a mix of some shit, the other was a local black metal band, and the third was a Macabre CD, and yes, it was back when burning CD´s was still a thing, so I think in totall the Macabre album had about 32 songs, I know that it included "Sinister slaughter" "Behind the walls of sleep" and "Gloom" I feel in love with it when i was fucking seven, thank any fucking deity that I didn't know english back then or I could have been really messed up, but it was the vocals and, especially the instrumentals! HOLY DICKTURD! they are so fucking skilled it's not even funny. Also if anyone here is a fan and of the age of, i don't know maybe 10-11 bear in mind when it's your turn to bring a CD to music class Macabre isn't appreciated... I tried with Vampire Of Dusseldorf.... just don't do it, haha.
Macabre will always be one of my favorites.. and I like that their style is different and no one sounds like them... There's a thousand morbid angels and incantations out there absolutely no one sounds like them ☕🚬

GREAT !!!! IT´S a strange combination : guys you could expect to see at a flea market playing this set of incredible songs, so powerful and heavy, wow , what a mistake was not havin seen this band before SHAME ON ME ...besides, the bass player is a clone of my older brother... ALL HAIL MACABRE !!!!
When id met Lance in the back room of cbgb in 2000 / thought he resembled a simpsons character of a homicidal howie mandel.. shaking his hand tho, i got the vibe that : if there’s ever been a front man thats buried a body, it’s him.. i remember macabre at Portalegre in Portugal, 1994...or 1995... a little place full power with Brutal Trurth and Pungent Stench and my band hahahaha....full dement!!!!!
