hahahaa oreos into oreos! i lol'd but lets be more fancy and realistic, turn oreos into french oreos. sounds right but there is nothing wrong with your statement
Tips 1. Don't use normal flour for these. Although it might be expensive, almond flour gives the a macaron the little bit at the bottom (called feet). 2. Use a rubber spatula when folding the mixture (it does something like make it less oily I think) 3. Always make extra filling depending how many macarons you make 4. You first batch ever will probably not turn out perfect. Macarons are hard to master, so it's good to practice and try different recipes
XxAnime ShadowxX no, we are saying this because in some other recipes they get kids to help them pour the stuff in the bowl and do other stuff but in this video there wasn't any help from kids
haha, they look easy, but they really aren't. You need to make sure your bowl is either glass or metal(not plastic because it can be greasy) and it needs to be absolutely rid of and oils or grease. I like to use vinegar and dish soap to clean my bowl, and let it dry alone, at its own pace, DO NOT use a paper towel or hand towel to dry the bowl. These tips should be used the exact same way on your mixer attachment. Those are just my tips to make it that much easier :)
They're actually hard to do, the best way to make them is measuring them by once/weight. In the beginning, a quarter of your batch may look bad. But with practice it gets better to make them.
As much as I love eating these, it’s just so much easier to buy than make. Also, almond flour costs 10x more than regular flour. ☹️ If you’re on a budget, Costco sells a pretty decent batch for about $13 for 20 pcs. 🙂
You can easily grind your own almonds yourself too! Just pulse almond slivers in a food processor until you have a fine grain! It's what I've always done, since there aren't any store that sell almond flour near me. (Almonds in general are pretty expensive though, so even making your own can be a little on the pricey side)
I made macarons with this recipe. Yeah that was what I thought so I went ahead without making the batter runny. Turned out the macarons looked rough on the surface despite have beautiful feet and filling. I recommend to keep the batter runny.
*At the mall* Me:mum, can we buy macarons? Mum:sure ,later *before leaving* Me:mum,we didn't buy the macarons Mum:sorry we don't have time -sad music- :,v
Leah Laushway I want to make the one with the Oreo cookies in them except they added the almond flour and I thought is it recommended or does it have to be in it
they aren't that hard if you do research beforehand. you kinda have to read a lot of troubleshooting and tips, because there are a lot of ways it can go wrong, the first time i did macarons, it went well.
Alicia James, they are actually simple. Only two parts, the outside "biscuit" (similar to meringue) and the filling. It is a simple as it looks in the video, but before you put them in the oven you should let them sit for five or so minutes, like this the crust will form better on the outside. Good luck 😊
Ben Anderson O.o Nice? I’m clearly drunk Even though that’s against my personal morals and I’m under age Somehow I must be intoxicated cause there is no way you said that this music is good
Am i the only one who can never succeed in baking french macarons? They always don't rise even when i let them sit out!! Does humidity matter? I live in a very humid country. Any tips? Please help thank you!! Xx
Ok imma be honest with you. I’ve been trying to successfully make macarons for the past 2 years or so, looking at reviews and tips ALL over the Internet. I’ve succeeded like 2/20 times and that was with the sugar syrup, but I know that can be a little intimidating. I finally just decided to try buzzfeed’s recipe, not wanting to repeat all the other failed recipes and to my utter surprise, THEY FRICKEN WORKED. No kidding out of all the places, buzzfeed actually come thru. You should genuinely try this. My only mistake was that I kept putting the macarons in for more time to bake bc I thought the inside was too mushy. Just take them out at the right time even if you think they are too gooey. Mine were very crunchy (my fault) but otherwise the shape and rise was GREAT!!
@Rommel Vallecillo-Drews cuz it’s Tasty 😒 they use it waaaay to much I saw a recipe for a cheesecake that called for like *40 oz* of cream cheese!!!! 🤮
This video makes baking macarons look easy 👍🏼😃. I tried making macarons from a book recipe I found and the macaron cookie part turned out more like stickers than actual cookies so it didn’t workout for me and I just gave up on macarons, but these recipes make me want to try again. We will see how round 2 turns out! 😅
I made these for my mother's bday! She LOVED them! She actually tried them in france! I was in her stomach, so I dunno anything, but she told me about it. Then we went to Paris, where I was a baby and was out if her stomach this time, she had them again, she said I refused to eat them lol!
They make it look so easy 😆 to get a proper foot and rounded top they need to sit out for AT LEAST a half hour to a few hours before baking depending on the temperature and humidity of the room. Also, using two baking sheets stacked on top of eachother while baking helps for a bigger foot!
No, It provides texture in the loose sense that the reason a french macaron has that give/chew is because of the nut flour. But if you live in the northeast you can easily find it at trader Joes or Fairway :)
