Hallie Smythe, in the role of Lady Macbeth from the GSA's 2018 production of Macbeth, performs an excerpt from Act 5, Scene 1. This scene is broken up and analysed by the Gaiety School of Acting's Shakespeare in Schools Coordinator Rebecca Dolan.

I watched this in preparation for my monologue in the English reading of Macbeth. Maybe I took it a bit too seriously lol, but I regret nothing.

@@martyg3321 Nothing beyond the basics. Just say it over and over and over again until it becomes nature. Or you could put a tune to it, make it an earworm. Of course this runs the risk of you accidentally singing the monologue.

Personally I think her voice was too high pitched, I always thought of that speech more like a guttural whisper. I love this play

If you are Lady MB think of a time you completely betrayed a person (we all have, it's OK) and channel it.
