You already measured other side of fuse and there we saw no short on the reading then after bridge fuse you said cap is shorted so why we didnt see this short when we measured other side of fuse? You only see this short after coil. Maybe it was half shorted ?

Hi, ended up spilling milk on the keyboard of mac air a1466 but managed to clean it out and get it running. The back-light of display is not working and every time i need to power on i have to pull the battery out and reset the clock to get it running. Basically the power button is working only sometime. Any idea on what to do? Is it the problem with the display fuse?
I enjoy watching your work Sorin. It would be nice if you could swap microphones with Diana because hers looks better but I would like to know if it makes a difference with the sound quality. 😀
Hi i Have MSI CX500 Laptop but it's not working, when i press the power button it's turn on but nothing display. I tested the CPU it's always Cold and HDD looks like it's not recognize. When i try shutdown laptop again by pressed and hold the power button i can not turn it off. Any ideas?. Thanks for answers. Good video!!!

Anyone in the comments section could possibly help with my issue? I have my friend's old MacBook Air (probably from 2008). This is the first time in my life I have apple laptop in my hands, so I don't even know what the normal behaviour of these machines is. When I plug in the charger, first a green light goes on for a second and then an orange light goes on and stays on, then the laptop makes a sound and turns itself on (without me pressing the power button) and I get white screen with apple logo and a loading bar. It starts loading and after about 30 seconds the laptop turns itself of. I cannot get past the white screen with the apple logo and loading bar. I left it turned off on the charger for a couple of hours. When I unplug the charger and press the power button, nothing happens. It only turns itself on when I plug in the charger. I don't know what to do with this. Any ideas anyone, please? Thanks
Hi I have a Toshiba C660-195 (PWWAA LA-6841P)with a non working webcam, I have replaced the cable and camera module so it's not that. Also it's not a driver issue because it works with another board same model. Any ideas would be appreciated.
real genius. MacBook airs don't have start pads. when working on them and battery disconnected, connecting power will automatically p power up the board.
bottom cover of macbook is useful as a tray to hold things. Battery is also useful too - maybe as usb charger. Rest of the macbook, just part it out and dispose on ebay for $$profits$$ One man's garbage is another man's treasure!
