I have the same model same MacBook in one ear but why I have one small problem I was trying to clean my MacBook and I broke some keys and I now want to replace the full keyboard
It may not be totally broken , in some cases we can fix the same keys on it . Check that the key is working, when you press the bubble, placed under the key.
What was the problem with keyboard? Was replacement part origin Apple or third party? I have a problem with space bar. From first day it was over sensitive. You could touch anything nearby the space bar it would make space in line. If you press space intentionally several spaces would be produced. Software adjusting didn't help. Then I put some elastic material to increase force between space bar cap and keyboard base. But seems that force was to strong. When need space normal press was not registered. Need a bit more force to register it. After trying to replace more elastic material, suddenly space stop working completely. Now I am thinking about replacement the whole keyboard. But still not sure if this is necessary.
