Camera just came today and your app is better than mine. I can only choose 1 minute loop.

You should be able to change it from 1/2/3/5/10 minute loop intervals.

The amazon product description lists a max supported memory card size of 128G. Is your 256G definitely working okay? Would rather upgrade to a larger size, but don't want any trouble.

Yup, works fine. It's been about 2 months using it and I can still access it. Video is coming out as expected. Mind you, I'm using a SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card to be exact. The card pre-installed is a no-name brand. I can't imagine it has the read-write speeds like a SanDisk and maybe why they didn't try to up the card size with the included card.

No, it only records when car is on.

They do. It's the second option on the order page.

How does this work if you use wireless android auto? Since both use wifi for comms?

No issues. The unit uses its own WiFi. So you can disconnect from the AA wifi and use the cable while connecting to the camera wifi to review video.

No. It starts recording automatically when the car turns on. There is also a button to snap a photo anytime.

Recommends recording audio the worst thing you can do. One because it could come back and bite you in the butt… two passengers and some states require consent from both parties.

@decab is there a way on the app to disable data sharing? I've read that one of the critiques is that it auto-shares data/recordings to the company which is based in China.

The only way would be to remove the permissions of the app through the phone settings.

Rear camera is optional and is wired. Wire runs through the headliner.

Is there a video showing the wiring installation (hiding the wiring in the headliner) somewhere that I can access? I am very interested in buying this but I am very challenged when doing any kind of technical stuff and I’m sure that I will screw things up without a video to help me.
