Thanks brother! I agree, this winter has been tough on local businesses for sure! Also with so many leftover '24 sleds at dealers, im thinking there will be some big discounts next fall. Maybe get sled pricing back to reality somewhat! Cheers!

Yeah, back in the day, in our 20's we'd have a bunch of riders, out there day and night..last one across the lake buys first round..lol. Trails looked sweet today. Hi, I've been watching your videos for a couple of yrs now. You look like your about my age, I've been sledding since 1976. My first sled was a '72 Ski-doo 440 Nordic. lol I retired from the sport back in 2013 due to health reasons but I'm able to ride again and after watching & riding along with you, I might just do that. I've got a cottage just outside of Dorset & it would be nice to ride with you sometime next year. The quality of your videos are great. Keep it up !
Wow thank you SO MUCH! I know when I took a winter off from riding(pandemic year) a couple seasons ago, i found myself watching a ton of sled videos! It really helped me to take the edge off. We certainly aren't getting any younger and i feel very lucky to still be able to ride like I did when i was a kid. Rippin it makes me feel 18 again for sure. Always have the need for speed since a was little and that is not going away! Sleds have come a long way since the early days, now riding a couple hundred miles a day is quite common. Thanks Brother! I have a bad feeling with today temp(45f) and tomorrows, and some rain showers....we will be seeing a lot of trails go red on the ITG by thurs evening unfortunately...Next week is also looking mild. This is the winter that never was!
Thanks for watching brother. I hear ya, we lost about 10 inches just yesterday alone and now down to 1 foot on my snowstick overall. Good news is today is cooling down finally and tomorrow will be COLD, which will leave what is left of trails rock hard and sleds overheating for sure. But im eyeing Sunday for a possible ride before the huge warmup next week, as Sunday will be closer to 32f and soften trails with some light flurries in the air. Other then that this season might very well be over already!
Agree, we got lucky with snow a couple times, but will be shortlived again as it's 46f here now and melting fast. Might be last ride here! It looks look far east Qc. has the best riding this winter for snowfall. Ours here is melting fast, and likely wont be heading northward as they are melting down too. Bummer of a winter!
Thank you! I apologize for that. I know most of my viewers know the area i ride in and forget some people may not. I need to be better with that. The area we ride mostly in winter is known as The Muskoka region Ontario, Canada. I live in NY state right near Niagara Falls at the Canada border. I have been going to our cottage in Muskoka since I was born. It is located in Huntsville Ontario, Canada. The trail system around this region which is known as "cottage country" is vast and expansive. Did not get one mile in and had to cancel trips up north as you prob know they had limited snow. Canada looks to be the answer if the winters continue like this. Guess you’re not far from me. @@Summitoutdoorproductions Yes agree, this past winter was really the worst we have ever seen, even up in Ontario where we always have snow we had very little rideable days. I had the lowest miles season by far ever since i started riding way back in the day. We have been taking more trips to the far north Ontario regions and also NW Qc areas alot the last several years to get good conditions, but even those areas this last winter were very poor and short overall. I know the southern tier of WNY well, I build homes and my first one i built was in Springville area where I lived for a few yrs. Always loved that entire region and still enjoy heading down there often. Cheers!
No I have never rode anywhere in NY even though i live in Niagara area. Many years ago I lived in Springville NY south of Buffalo when i built my first home there and I used to ride around there a few times a season before i headed to muskoka. That '24 Reg sticker on left side is Michigan REG. If i buy a sled in MI i register it there, if i buy in NY i register it there, just depends. Cheers!
@@rockerdan thanks for the reply back dan. I noticed a red 2024 sticker on the side of your cowl in your video. Thats what Old Forge uses for the permits on sleds. Old Forge is in the Adirondack Mountains in Northern NY. Have a great day. Mark
