Nice vid Dan. Yeah, with the terrible winter we're all experiencing, hard to justify a new sled purchase. But great to see manufactures moving forward with the latest and greatest technology. 👍
Thanks brother. It seems to be the theme right across most all areas this winter. Really short season to say the least. Still cant believe i only was able to ride 3 or 4 times, and my local trail club never once opened at all. Always can ride from cottage but this year the only rides I had to truck over to the next club. Last amazing winter we had here was 2014 when i got 3600 miles on that season and we rode south many times even, which is nonexistent lately. Sure wonder if we will ever get long hard winters ever again. Nice to to manufacturers working on new stuff but they certainly will need to walk a fine line with new tech since the dealers seemed to be saddled with a on of leftover inventory. I was hoping to see higher rebates on spring orders to help with sales, cause my guess is 2025 models will be very low sales with so many 24s still avail. At this price point sleds are really tough to justify when you only ride once or twice with our winters, hopefully these things get worked out with pricing and better winters! Cheers!
Awesome Dan. Thanks for the breakdown. It's going to be tough year to buy a new sled after this winter. We've done ok over here in our riding area. But the traffic has been insane. I was hoping for a strong finish this season but it looks like it's going to end soon. Taylorj.
Hey Taylor! What's happening brother? I hear ya, what a short season this will by far go down in record book for worst ever. I wont even get 200 miles on! You guys seem to have got the most open trail time over your way, so that is better then here. My local club (HGR) did not even bother opening the entire season here, just crazy. @jasonfreake9020 Hey Taylor. Just wanted to ask you how are your trails around Whitney ect now? Im betting they are better then ours after yesterdays(thurs 23rd) melt. Wonder if it would be worth it for us to head over your way again likely would be Sunday as Sat looks like cold temps will have trails rock hard and no lube, but Sunday looks around 32f so thinking soft enough for lube. With this crazy short winter, and barely any ride miles this season, I'm likely to keep the Mach. Also i would think Ras RX and Pilot RX skis will make their way to the 4s gades for '26. Cheers brother!
@rockerdan can't blame you there. I got about 1400 miles on my comp turbo before the motor blew. I'm thinking about holding on to it for another season but we will see.
@@hotham88 Wow really? I was wondering how those 2s turbos would hold up. Did they say what caused it? You got a heck of a lot more miles on then we did. Where abouts did you ride, was the snow decent where you are? Man i sure hope next year is alot better.
@Rockerdan All my riding was in Aroostook county here in Maine. We had low snow conditions but really had some great riding and some not so good. Dealer has not really elaborated on what happen. I heard once the Rave valve touched a piston then I heard a spot on a piston but we will see when I pick it up what they have to say.

Dano my buddy had a 2019 Assault which was a lot of fun to ride. I did ride another buds 650 XCR a couple times and that thing rips hard. Best thing i like about POO is they actually transfer. We ride tight trails and nothing makes a sled more fun and feel lighter then when you can blip the front skis off knolls! Doo IMO made their sleds feel heavier when they went to Rmo X rear with the longer arm, which took away almost all the transfer, especially on the 4s gade models. I messed around with mine a fair bit to get some transfer but still not as fun as a POO with the way those sleds can blip off the knolls. Im more in the 4s lane these days and POO doesnt have a high power 4s yet. Also DOO just has always been more refined overall. I have never had any issue with the DOO front end, and the rMo rear suspension eats big junk so well, i think the XRS is the best overall sled to pound moguls on a sunday afternoon. Cheers!
Lester’s are hacks. The father is just OK at this point - the kids still riding daddy’s coattails. The reality is the crappy videos do not go in depth and they like and say whatever the mfr wants them too.
@@RotaxXS While i don't disagree with you, especially on certain points, I still try to find the positive on any of the sled shows. But i agree the bigger shows are more beholden to the Mfr and dont tend to bring up all the sled shortcomings. Case in point is all the driveline issues on the Winder and Cat 998s. Seems like noone ever mentions those issues, while TY forums were loaded with these issues for a few yrs, i wrote many of them! But i get how things work, and i know many dont like ST.
