We really wanted to embroider hats but we just couldn’t seem to make these home embroidery machines work with the bill. We can’t get close enough to make it look professional. But shirts, sleeves, pillows, towels, everything else is perfect!
I’m teaching myself to quilt. The next quilt I want to make is a bookshelf quilt. But I want to embroider book names that I love on different books. Possibly with specific fonts, like Harry Potter. So uploading outside sourced fonts or designs is important to me. I think single color and small size should be fine. I have experience teaching myself to use a Cricut design and using a 3d printer. So I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the trouble to get and learn to use an embroidery machine for this. Or to hand embroider although I might still need a design aspect (like an iron on pattern) for a hand embroidered font. Any suggestions. Cost is not an issue.
Hmmmm.- I'm not a quilter so I'm not sure how to answer this one. But I would have to say that an embroidery machine should speed up your process. I love handstitched items, but it's timeconsuming. I prefer my Brother SE2000 over the Skitch. I don't have to use the app with that one.
Do you have or, can you please make a video on how I can go about doing and embossing embroidery for a design? I have the Brother SE 2000 Sewing and Embroidery Machine? I would be so grateful! TIA!
