I personally like mgk, I think he's real and didn't allow fame to change the real him. also, the fact that he grew up with hip hop and rock background and incorporates both into making his albums is fun and creative. MGK is one of the best live performers I've ever seen. There's nothing at all wrong with his confidence. He's earned it with his music and live shows. People are intimidated by his security in the fact that he's fucking talented and is making moves in the industry.

I don't get the concept of pictures with celebs. Here you have a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet this person, and you ensure that it will only last five seconds by taking a picture. If you speak to them and respect them like a normal person, they might actually talk to you for a long time.

Great interview, he comes across very likeable, well spoken and able to hold a conversation. To me he seems modest and humble, he obviously sees himself differently to his predecessors and his peers with his punk rock influences. Really happy he got that No.1 Rap Album, hope he goes far.

He's even admitted to not being allowed back to other music festivals because the festivals' insurance didn't want to cover someone who gets super crazy and then gets the whole crowd in a riot type of frenzy.
