@@sp8813 Best of luck friend. I’m a few years sober now and I still fight cravings and desires. For me, it’s all about the will to live. I can continue my efforts and stay sober or I can give into the cravings, feel good for a while, then die. I choose life. I will pray that you do too.
@@hussainalyami3988 yes, he's amazing. So kind with his fans, with people who invites him in talk-shows/podcasts, every artist who have been working with him says the same nice things about him, the big majority in the industry likes MGK
So proud of colson! I know how hard it is to fight addiction and I know he’s been fighting it forever. Sober Colson looks amazing and is absolutely killing the music world!
I have been practicing psychiatry and working in the mental health field, specializing in addiction for longer than that. I can honestly say, there has never been one time in my entire professional career that I have ever ever ever ever given up on a client. To hear him say this, is disheartening and what I would say is that those people that gave up on him never should’ve been working in this business to begin with! ♥️
Do you think that celebrity would be out of the scope of certain therapists. The things they go through with the highs and lows of performing in front of thousands of people and then having to deal with thousands of negative comments. It is not something us regular people go through and thus a regular therapist may not know how to deal with. Im not saying its right but do you think that may explain it?
Not really, it depends on the experience and qualification of the therapist with a certain type of patient. There are many celebrities and athletes in the United States who have gone through addiction and pressure and if a group of therapists think that media exposure is a key factor then they will do research to find the best coping strategies. All patients are different in certain things so the truth is that those psychiatrists, perhaps due to personal issues, were not at the right time to help mgk.
The more I know about his crazy childhood the more I understand his problems and admire his success and his costant efforts to improve and change path.
He's a beautiful person inside,a very talented artist, amazing performer live and has a beautiful future ahead of him, I'm so very happy for him and very proud
Everyone can have their opinion on him as a person and how he presented himself in the media... but the dude is super talented. His music may not be for everyone but he's got tons of good songs.
It's a hand-rolled cigarette smart guy. He talks about how he hand rolls his cigarettes now because he used to love rolling joints. Know what you're talking about before looking ignorant next time 👍
Listen to his song BMXXING He said he will smoke weed till he die & he smoked since he was a teen and not affected his success so i dont see the problem
Watch his full interview with Gillie and Wallo. Doesn't smoke weed now, but said he will again some day. He is smoking hand rolled tobacco when you see him lately 👍
Thank you SO much E! News for sharing this news! I have REALLY been so worried about him, I've legit been a wreck........ just wondering about, my days blue and cloudy!
He's a great artist, just makes really stupid mistakes and still choosing to go at Eminem isn't going help him. He's needs to focus on him and keep grinding. I wish you the best MGK and hope you get life figured out glad your sober and pushing towards great things.
You could tell when he said I'm sober from.... And hesitated before he said literally everything, and then later in the interview he said I've been sober from alcohol. But sober means different to everybody. I'm just glad he's starting to see it, as well as I am.
@@MV-eo2ws Eminem has raised three daughters, two of them have graduated college with the highest honors and he did it all while maintaining his spot at the top of the rap game. Look at how MGK's family has gone, he got ran out of rap, got laughed out of rock, painted his nails and covered up his tats, now he's trying to crawl back into the spotlight. I'll bet my money on the man with 16 years sober and is a successful father 😂
Ok, welcome to planet earth. Us humans sometimes have mental disorders and we are not sane. Not sure why it matters so much to you. Keep judging people tho im sure itll work out
