I remember when I was young and their album "Burn my eyes" was released (yes, I´m old guys) I couldn´t believe how good it was. Nothing before that had that sound and style. Seen them live too, they´re really solid.

I'd say batshit as in crazy and experimental as opposed to a bit shit, but that's just my opinion, I didn't totally hate that album, it's got more good in it than I think it gets credit for. Not that I will try to defend Triple Beam, because uhhh, no, I won't, that one is really bad, even compared to the rest of the relatively weak album.

I think this bands longevity gets overlooked. These dudes have been thrashing it for so fucking long now. "Through The Ashes of Empires" is probably my favorite album from them. The song "Imperium" is pure gold! Such good memories attached to that song too.

I still remember the first time I heard Clenching the Fist of Dissent. Stopped me in my tracks. Took my missis to see them in Charlotte a couple years back and they absolutely nailed it. This is good stuff.

I saw them on the Blood Stone and Diamonds tour and it was "An Evening with Machine Head" so there was no opening act. It was fantastic. I miss the lineup with Phil Demmel, Adam Duce and Dave McClain but this song ripped.

I saw them in Toronto at the Danforth Music Hall in Feb 2018, they opened with Ten Ton Hammer, first time opening a show with TTH since 1997. Such an incredible show, they played for what seemed like 3hrs.

Man I’ve loved Machine Head for the last twenty years. They’ve always been able to come through and evolve flawlessly with whatever sound is going on in metal. Always true to their Thrash roots and also giving the middle finger to Metal elites who hate rap by throwing in some 🔥🔥🔥 bars!!! Not to mention they out play any of these newer bands effortlessly. Robb vowed never to make the same album over and over so they ALL sounds different. My fav era was the Unto The Locust era. Those songs you would enjoy sooo much. Especially Locust. Honestly the perfect balance of old/new riffs/melodic elements. I will pay you to react to that o.0 haha

I got really into them once they released Bloodstones and Diamonds in 2014 and I’ve been a fan ever since as that album is magnificent. I’m not fully into their older stuff but their hits stand out obviously (Halo, Ten Ton Hammer etc) and Unto the Locust is another brilliant album too. Their stuff since Bloodstones has been hit and miss but I still look forward to what they put out, just great bangers. I quite liked their EP Arrows in Words from the Sky last year so definitely looking forward to the new album if it’s anything like that

I've been listening to Metal since 2008, started with the classics, such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer and such. In the same year, I discovered Machine Head and they became my favourite band. The Blackening album just demolished 12 year old me. Since then, I've had my melodeath, folk metal, metalcore, deathcore, black metal, death metal and grindcore phases, and yet, 14 years later, Machine Head is still my fav band and they keep going hard. I've had the pleasure of seeing them live in my country (Portugal) and it was insane. Can't wait for the new album! 🤘🏻 I'm also planning on doing a The Blackening tattoo, the album is simply a masterpiece and the cover art is just beautiful
