As a homeowner, purchasing one of these machines could be classified as impossible compared to buying a Kubota. They have a network of salespeople that have spent their career with sealed bids and " here's what we need. Here's a po". They just don't want to deal with us
My dad was a heavy equipment operator for over half a century. He operated everything from Cat, Komatsu, Volvo, etc. Towards the end of his career, he was operating excavators almost exclusively. There's almost no limit on what he could do with one of those machines. He always said that Hitachi made the best excavators, hands down. I have a couple acres that I'm trying to improve, and I'd absolutely love to have a 50U. However, I expect they're probably way out of my price range. 😞
