If the budget is limited, these tools are particularly convenient

That is a lathe - weighs about 2 tons. Lathes are often harder to move than milling machines as they are awkward.

Hi Billy, depending on the weight capacity of the jack, you can get as low as an inch or so from the ground to under the load.
