Well done you two, the Metro looks superb. Must be one of the best is the country! Really is a time capsule. Great to see machine polishing on the channel at last as for me that’s what makes someone a Detailer rather than someone who just keeps their car clean. Nice to find out about Royal Details too as Sean is a couple of miles away from me. In fact you would have practically driven right past mine to get back to Mersea! No surprise you were impressed with the Rupes. I got the LHR15 mk2 and LHR75e a couple of years ago. Great machines. My DoDo Juice roatary is only used for spot pad duties now👍

the last time I took a pressure washer to my 1st metro, half of the paint blew off the cars arches!! Never gain did I take a pressure wash to my cars after that. Great to see a metro getting a lot of love!

Having looked underneath my 2006 Golf I’m just glad the Metro is so immaculate... if you listen to the music and imagine someone grabbing an inflatable banana you’ll know what I mean!!! In a good way of course!! Have you ever done a video on your detailing kit/garage storage??

Great video, loving the Škoda Fabia Monte Carlo in the background, I have one in race blue, a massive thank you for your advice regarding cleaning wheel well linings, I found the ‘toilet brush type tool’ that you recommended on eBay, it has totalling eliminated my immense frustration at trying to reach this area!!.

Nothing like a well cared for completely stock time capsule car like your metro! Where I live in Chicago you’d be lucky to find some cars 5-10 years without rust starting to develop or having developed, not to mention door dings everywhere :/ Keep the videos coming!!

Great video guys! Same as my first car that metro 😅 but mine was a 1.4. Worth noting on Turbo6 that application by machine can sometimes reduce longevity to around 2 months but increases filling ability dramatically. Hand application offers less in filling but longer durability up to 6 months.

Bilt Hamber clay mars like mad, I fully deconed and paint corrected part of a bonnet, then used a brand new piece of soft bilt hamber clay on it with water and it marred. This was after a bad experience with a Range Rover Sport bonnet!

The paint on those old Rovers is pretty good, I have a Mini 30 in red, it badly needs the paintwork de swirled and cleaned up but I'm pretty sure when it gets done it will look even better than it does.

So my 25 year old metro has fairly bad swirls from previous owner. Any tips or products to remove these without a machine polisher?
