You just helped me realize something that had been a mystery to me for a very long time, the extra thick quilting (ruler) foot on your machines IS THE GUIDE to help you keep your spacing distance, wow, I can't believe I never noticed this before! Thank you so much!
I started free motion quilting about a year ago after watching y your videos. I was skeptical about the not so perfect shapes blending. I am happy to say that they do. Thanks again for all the great things you show us. 😀
First I have been having so much fun with this challenge, I cannot believe it has been 6 weeks already! I love how this paisley feather kind of looks like a peacock 🦚, can't wait to sit and try it!
I have a lap size half-square triangle rainbow quilt to quilt up today, going to try this all-over pattern on it. Can't wait. There are so many small color changes of fabric so I want to stick to one color thread and do a beautiful quilt design. I think this is the one!
Love this. It's way easier for me than woodgrain or stipple-meander; I cant do that for love or money...yet. lol. Thanks Angela. Hope to take an in person class from you someday.
You are so beautiful! In every way!! I am always so inspired and when I complete the challenge say to myself,”hey that’s pretty great!” Thank you so much!!!
This project has been really fun, AND I feel like I've progressed as a free-motion quilter. Thank you so much for your help with these different quilting designs. Could you post some pictures of how you have handled the borders? Did you just quilt over the woodgrain patterns with the grey thread?
I decided to try my ruler foot for quilting the paisley feathers and this improved my spacing. However when use it on a pieced quilt I have difficulty getting over the seams especially where they all meet at corners. Any advice?
