I remember watching the launch stream and frantically trying to find where I could listen to more of your work as you played. So happy to see your set again and I'm so excited for your album.

hi so as far as i know nobody's transcribed the lyrics for these yet and i might end up animating to some of these songs so i figured. might as well! heres all seven of em, done to the best of my ability (lmk if there's something i got wrong!) 1. You can't just drop "Arizona's Calling Me" in the middle of the set like that. There are tears streaming down my face. Absolutely beautiful writing and playing

Arizona Calling is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, it left me breathless when I first heard it on the stream. Can't wait for the album!!

as someone who spends quite a bit of my time studying musical theater, so many of these songs are SO evocative of modern-ish musical theater, I'd almost compare it to some of the jazz adjacent vibes of something like Caberet combined with the faster more belty songs from something like into the woods (for example). I've seen these described as theater pop, which i think is such a good description. I also so love the way you switch between different vocal registers like it's fucking nothing, which is a skill that it took me so long to perfect and i still get that kind of thing wrong quite often. anyway, i wish you all the best and am so excited to see what you make next.

The middle of this set is basically back to back emotionally devastating. Bravo. Super excited for this album and glad to have an archive of this stream. Also your dress sense is fantastic.
