"This is the most insane CNC machined part that Barry, our Master Machinist has ever made at TITANS of CNC on the Heller HF5500." I think this sentence is to be taken word by word to not misunderstand the Video... that Heller is so new to the shop, that Barry had not yet a chance to machine anything more complicated on it up to now 😉 Also, complicated =/= complex, so the narrative episode will probably tell us what makes this part, that looks like a fuel distributor of a space rocket (new glenn?), so special. (no, this post is not meant sarcastic or negative if it sounds that way... just my interpretation written down)
Nice looking part so far. Looking forward to see what the final result is. Also, very pleased that the ASMR acronym, that every RU-vid creator feels they need to throw into the title to get views, was not used. I cannot think of a single RU-vid video that actually provided the promised ASMR. I think the vast majority of the creators that use the acronym have not the slightest idea what it stands for.
I feel like I've finally got over the hump of "I don't know how to do that." Like this is a decent part, but it's not that bad to program if you know what you're doing
Titans of CNC! More the Titans of NFAP… not sure I’ve ever seen a part completed on this channel. No wonder they closed the machine business and started a training program. You know what they say, those that can do, those that can’t teach
Id like to see what your cycle times are more. Just out of curiosity. Even what the estimates are. I know there is a bunch of things to factor in because of filming and such.
@barrysetzer Nice Job! but why don't you use the mill turn capability of the machine for that bore and the flanges? Or does this machine configuration not have the direct drive rotary table?
Awesome work guys! just remember, the nail that sticks out gets the hammer. keep sticking out guys, it's what separates the fadal users from the heller guys🦾keep up the good work and thanks for your videos!
