The amount of material wasting here is incredible. Why dont you pre cut them with water jet?

They are a fairly big aerospace company, they recycle it all I'm sure. That's what you get sometimes with billet vs forged/cast. Regardless of how you cut it, its still material removed and probably recycled anyways.
