That phrase is going to stick in my memory. Albeit he might have come from some privilege, achieving a PGA tour card doesn’t come with anyone’s last name. Hard work and persevering amid doubt and failure is the backbone of paying rent. Good on him for representing his hometown so well.

Great tour profile. As a Canadian from southern Ontario, its true, as kids growing up on the course, were always playing golf for free fries or poutine after the round lol. Even still as adults...

He lives in Charlotte. It’s not Florida but 9/12 months are golf heavy.

When some really never had to pay rent... Because mom&dad R Rich... Own 10 houses on several courses ... Rent analogys are cute!!?... And a job would get in the way of playing golf all day??!!... So Special!!.. I notice Skier kids R the same.... Mom&dad own 10 houses around the ski resort??!! Gimme a break!!...

Not Mac's background at all. Both of his parents worked very hard to get him to where he is and his mom is still working as a Nurse in Hamilton, ON.

@@kevinfletcher6956 I apologise for not knowing his back ground... I play golf now..3yrs...& have skied since I was 22.. I've met alotta great people in both sports... But each sport caters to a higher economic bracket for the most part... I found it irritating with some of these trust funders... Having three jobs to pay rent for a room in their house..apt that daddy bought for them... Putting up with late night rich kid partying..them "blowing" their mo trust-part time job money on the bar&expensive party favors... Then getting upset cause they have no money... Asking if U could pay rent early... Then calling daddy& having 500.00 dollars show up.... Ohhh when they do go skiing-snowboarding... It usually at 2 pm.... Golf-ski crowd.. A lot like the sport.. But to many just want to own all the property around..buy new gear they don't know how to use properly... And make great sports to expensive for the average citizen to play?.... Some of these kids.. Grow up Soft... Lack self discipline.. Have gotten what they want Give in to them?.. Far from life-or death decisions... Looking into the abyss?...
