What night did you head down? We were on the pier Friday night and had 30 out in just over an hour was a good night. Went down again today and managed 2 🤣 joys of sea fishing!

mate ill have to give this a go before the mackerel move out. it seems the river keeps the baitfish and them in. i dunno if the north beach fishes as well for mackerel. hope to see you fishing one day

Does high/low tide matter for here mate?

It's usually best here on an incoming tide in daylight and a couple of hours up until it gets dark
