Nice overview of the Mackie DLZ Creator XS...I'm already lovin' mine! It's fantastic. My only recommendation is to add more virtual channels for streamers.
@@TheRockPilePodcast if you need power, I'd go with the Mackie DLZ Creator XS. Plenty of gain for the Shure SM7B and the Mackie can drive high ohm headphones, too.
Also, can someone not just show the hardware but also show how you can set this up for live streaming, extra channels, if you can change the streaming level vs headphone levels separate, the routing table (like go xlr) and if there is a monitoring channel that can only go to the headphones
How you release an awesome unit like this without mix minus and custom routing on the monitors is beyond me. Had to return and buy the Rodecaster Pro which has been amazing after the software updates.
Mackie DLZ Series has all these features, such as mix-minus over two stereo USB returns, NDI, Bluetooth, and custom headphone mixes on all headphone outputs, which you can send out on a separate USB mix.
I have been very interested in this mixer but this interview.. not sure why but wow sounded scripted, robotic, and was hard to listen to. It got better as it went but if it wasn't an item i was interested in I would have moved on
