Mackie is well known for their affordable audio production gear, but their headphones don't get the same attention as offerings from their many competitors like Audio-Technica, Sony, AKG, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, and others. I thought is would be interesting to see what the MC-250 offer as entry-level studio headphones. I hope you enjoy my review.

thanks. your opinion in comparison with athm30x or K361? (from price point of view it is in between)

Sound comes down to preference and genres you listen to or work with. Neither of the two is a poor choice, but I would lean towards the m30x as their durability and performance has been proven over time in daily studio use. I get into more details in my reviews of each, but the durability of the k631 is a bit concerning to me. Hope this helps out.

So would you recomend these for people with huge heads? I need studio phones but I find most way to small?

Clamping force and width are fine, but the ear cup area is a bit on the small side. Closed-backs for larger heads that generally fit very well (with room to spare) include the Shure SRH840A, Beyerdynamic DT 880 pro, and the AKG K361. All generally will fit with some room to spare with a good mix of clamping force, width, length, and oversized ear cup area. Hope this helps out!
