Mine arrived today and I am very pleased with everything that they’ve done with this speaker. It sounds bigger and fuller than my original Bose S1 Pro. It has more of everything; speaker size, inputs, effects are good and the controls offer so much flexibility there’s nothing like it right now. I think it’s a great value in this segment. I bought the bag too but haven’t opened it up yet. Got everything from Sweetwater. If you’re considering buying it don’t hesitate.
The question I have, is if the sound will stop working if you were to loose connection with the controller for any reason? Or even if you were trying to do a Hot Swap between the stand and the speaker while music was playing.
Two XLR, two instrument, one stereo instrument and the Bluetooth audio. I would say 5 in practical terms but technically 6. 2 vocals and 3 instruments is fine but that is a lot of stuff to go into one speaker so I would try it first.
Could anyone tell me how this stacks up to the Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge ? And would you take a piece of equipment that costs this much on a bus ride into New York to play in the subway ?
@@aaronshortmusic I've been happy with the Loudbox until now. But I've seen other people in the subway with rigs like this. And does anyone know if that SD card records in multi track ? Or just stereo. And does that unit provide phantom power ?
@@aaronshortmusic Well, when looking at equipment to take into the subway I have to take in consideration that it'll have to take a beating. I walk through A field behind my apartment building to get to a highway where I can catch a bus to NYC. The equipement rides in the luggage compartment. There's also the fact that I'm performing in the NEW YORK CITY SUBWAY, where all sorts of crazy shit happens. Someone could kick it, pour something gross over it, or just grab it and take off. I take all that into consideration before spending money on equipment I take to the city.
